I more excited about the start of this season than last.
Last year the focus was on Ohtani staying or leaving. This year, the focus will be on all of the young guys. It’s about the team. Win or lose, that is a more interesting story.
I wonder how Trout’s September conversation with ownership went. I can’t imagine Arte said “Mike, we are going with a smaller budget.” And Trout was ok with it.
There has to be some mental skill involved to sit on the bench when the rest of the team is in the field. Knowing you only get 4 or 5 chances to actually contribute to the game night after night. There must be some discipline involved to stay engaged.
Probably not a position that some players can handle.
Empire puts the heroes in the most trouble and has the darkest moments. It feels like all is lost which is important to story.
A New Hope sets up so much for the future, yet stands alone as a movie.
I will take Empire for the win.
