4.00 ERA is asking a bit much. Possible, but unlikely.
It does prove what I've been saying. He was due to pitch better. He was a bit unlucky earlier in the season.
It also shows that leaving him in the rotation instead of Williams wasn't the crazy move many said it was. The Angels made that decision based on who they thought would be better in the future, not who'd been better over the first two months. Their approach was a good one.
