Well, we came home from vacation early because my son tested positive.
My daughter tested positive this afternoon and my wife just went to bed feeling like shit, but still testing negative.
I guess we will see if reinfection is a thing, since I had it in May.

i've already said it, i've long been at the point where i just kind of want more ineptitude just for the lolz and it cracks me up that reid has to go down to AAA to get quality coaching. AAA coaches get him all dialed in and dazzling, then he comes up here gets all fucked up, then goes down to get it right again. it's a bit of a riddle, considering by that premise the angels can hire good minor league coaches, but not major league? that's weird.

Sadly, if they aren’t humiliated by the last three games, I don’t know what will.

I think it was yesterday’s broadcast where Gubi said something to the effect of “ every homerun is a mistake made by the pitcher and the good pitchers don’t make a lot of mistakes.”
Angels hitting philosophy seems to be hit it over the fence or walk back to the dugout with a K. 
 
Aside from Trout, Ohtani and sometimes Ward and Walsh, this team isn’t good enough to hit the mistakes, but that’s all they try to do. 
 
There is no reason for opposing pitchers to take risks and possibly make “mistakes” because most of the team is swinging wildly at shit pitches and watching pitches down the middle go into the catcher’s glove.

Sooooooo, in fewer words, they just plain suck.

I would say
1. the 5-9 in the order. Losing a healthy Rendon  and Fletcher is huge. You can have a guy like Squid or Marsh who may be struggling offensively, but great defensively, if you had those two hitting.
2. Bullpen is weak. Like what was said above, they don’t instill fear into opposing batters. They try to pitch around, get behind in the count and then throw it down the middle.
3. Too many called strike one and three. It drives me crazy to see Trout stare at strike one down the middle and basically start his at bat behind the count.
4. Pulling Iglesias last night after 10 pitches sucked. That’s bad management.
5. Lack of situational hitting.
