Precisely the plan at my house were I called for military service - and my father was career military. My mother was Canadian, and I was going on a prolonged visit to my grandparents' house were that to happen. We were still tangled up in Vietnam at the time. My parents watched as other parents brought their sons home in boxes from a war we weren't trying to win, in my father's opinion.

We have about an hour left recorded to watch so maybe there was more but if you're talking about her doing Farley's Matt Foley she was terrible. I realize it was short but all they did was try to cram the funniest moments from his original Foley skit into 30 rushed seconds. There was no set up it was just let's mention "van down by the river" then watch her take out the table.

Norm Mcdonald was the best on Weekend Update because he didn't give a **** about anything. There could be an entire 30 minute show of Weekend Update (kind of set up like The Soup) and I would watch it in a heartbeat.

Blazing Saddles by a long shot. I remember the first time I watched it. Thankfully it was uncensored on TV. I couldn't believe that the first line in the movie was, "dock that chink a day's pay for napping on the job." My mouth flew open. I couldn't believe they said that, not knowing that that joke was the least of my worries compared to the rest of them.
No one is giving love to Men in Tights and that's a shame it was my first Mel Brooks film I ever saw and is still hilarious to this day. The childhood humor is excellent.
