telling racial jokes, stereotyping, and laughing or making fun of people's differences may not be the same as forcing blacks to the back of the bus or refusing to serve them in your restaurant, but it's not a healthy thing by any stretch of the imagination. with kids, it fosters an attitude of "you're not as good as me because you're different" or "i'm better than you because xxxxxxx."  none of it is good, whether it's actions, words, or a secret prejudice no one knows about.

I think they have valid concerns.  I guess MLK and his group should have had better things to do.

Mylan pharma is a scumbag operation. They have done this with a number of other products. They buy up any generic competition, and then shut them down.
We have seen Doxycycline IV prices go from $27 for a box of 10 vials to $325 in just 3 years. There used to be four companies making it, now, oddly, Mylan is the only one.
Early 2015, I was paying $13/vial for Ascorbic Acid injectable. It is now $95....
Same with Rifampin for injection. $29/vial three years ago. Mylan enters the market, and within a year, all competitors are out. Priced at $189 today.
Unbelievable what they get away with. Where are the antitrust laws now?

I work on the base but I live on a compound. I live on the same compound that the British military personnel live on. From the outside it looks like a prison and is guarded by Saudi military and private security. It's probably the most secure place in the country not occupied by a royal family member. That said, I still have planned escape routes in several directions and carry a machete in my car. I accept responsibility for my own security as much as possible. 
But, despite what people who have never been here believe, this is a relatively peaceful country. South Sudan is 3 years into a civil war. Believing they are safe because they're foreigners shows zero awareness of reality. Someone blew some sunshine up their asses in regards to the security situation they fell for it. If I was going to be in a war zone I'd want details about who was guarding me and who was paying them to guard me.
