    No, we beat up on the bad teams last year.  Vs the good teams, we were bad.  Then playoffs roll around, the Royals kick our ass like they normally do, and everyone says we were "cold" or the Royals just got lucky.

    Weirdest freaking situation I've ever seen.  I'm still trying to figure out how it came to be that nobody on the team had any clue how his rehab was going, was the team not involved with the decision to have surgery or aware of the prognosis and after-care/rehab schedule? 
     
    I have no idea who is responsible but there is no denying there is a massive disconnect between player and team right now.

    Lol! Arte already owes Hamilton 83 million. CJ can say whatever he wants. His contract is also guaranteed. Let's say he does get traded, Angels still pay a good chunk of the contract. Arte should be able to take some criticism. You don't become a billionaire without some thick skin.

    Cheap chicken is a little creepy. He has a beak AND a mouth. Bob Starr was a great local announcer. He was good on baseball but he was incredible on Rams broadcast. Truly painted the picture. I think he replaced joe butitta. Was like replacing rusty water with honey.

    I've started some doozy threads but this has to be the worst. Let the kid be a kid, support the team she grew up liking. Neither Angels nor Rangers fans should care. Why would anyone even know who the players kids are??

    You missed the point of my analogy, which wasn't a good one. My point was that they Angels would be saying "yes our team deserved a penalty" (in this case losing because the umpire's bad call benefitted them.)
    And yes you can call out your own employee, but you risk people thinking you are a "dbag" (in the words of this thread) for not supporting him.

    I'm no bleeding heart, but geezuz... this is happens with addicts.  Be accountable for the risk you took by offering Josh Hamilton a million bucks per week.
