“Even if the season doesn’t work out or the next four years don’t work out, I’m planning for taking care of my kids when they get older. Hip surgeries, wrist surgeries, ankle surgeries … I want to play with them when they are 10, 12, 15 years old.
Given his comments regarding his "nagging" injury history & his want to spend more time with his children...I think it's more likely, at this point, that he retires...
He isn’t gonna walk away from the money

It's impressive that he's responded this way. bring placed on waivers twice within a month has got to be a serious blow to your self-esteem.
Dont know a ton about Grichuk but he seems to be a real professional the way he carries himself on and off the field.
unlike that twink Rendon.

Should have traded Ohtani at the deadline and Rendon with him.

Just want to make sure I have this in perspective.
A .500 season with the pleasure of watching one of the greatest seasons ever by any player in the history of the major leagues, along with fun watching some other good young players giving us things to look forward to. . .
. . . is the “Titanic” for some fans.
OK.
They are gonna finish below .500
it will be 9 years since the team has been in the playoffs. Ohtani will sign somewhere else. Rendon is the worst contract in baseball. This team has been horribly mismanaged for going on a decade now.
yes it’s the Titanic…..but we can always look forward to the other young players just as the White Star Line could look forward to Titanics younger sister……
the Britannic…..

So if this Angels season was the Titanic we would be at the point right now where the stern is at a 90 degree angle sticking straight up but hasn’t started it’s final plunge yet…it’s just hangin there.
I can vividly see Perry in place of Leo on the stern railing saying “this is it!” Once it starts it’s inevitable slide beneath the waves and into history.
Of course Rendon is off in a lifeboat somewhere not even caring.

He’s gone.

He got hit on the wrist with a 95 mph fastball. The human body is not designed to just deflect such things off of it without pain and/or injury.
His wrist injury isn’t the only thing I’m basing my opinion of him on.

This is a magical team no doubt.

Audio for me is fixed, just at volume 20 what is normally pretty loud on my tv I can barely hear it. Was the same yesterday with the mariners feed.

Innocence is the absence of being found guilty.
You cannot be “found innocent” you can only be found not guilty which mean you remain innocent.
Legally speaking Bauer is literally as innocent as you can possibly be.
No it’s not. Innocence means he didn’t do it. You, me, my neighbor….none of us knows if he’s innocent except for the parties involved which is Bauer and the woman.
I never said he was found innocent.
He was also never found not guilty. The DA decided they didn’t have enough evidence to prosecute. If he had gone to trial and been found not guilty it just means the prosecution didn’t prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he committed the crime.

Dude should be pitching in MLB, regardless if he is a douche.
