If you take a look at this roster Angels need a year or two development of younger players. You cannot count on Trout or Rendon and without them lineup is very weak. I think Ohtani see this and would have very little protection in this lineup. Ohani is very smart and meeting in secret with teams is driving up the price. Nobody really knows if he will be able to pitch again. Two TJS and he is not getting younger.

Nothing will be done till we see where Ohtani signs. If he is gone you do not trade your young building blocks but add to them. I think Silseth and Daniels will surprise people this year. I go after the young Korean OF as he is only 25. Add to young players. 

Moniak had a very nice year in 2023, I also hope he takes another step forward. He is what 25.

This is type of player to spend on. He is only 25, I would over pay for him. Add him to young players you have could be another building block.

How many games has Rendon played last 3 years? Would Anderson be better than Fletcher or Stefanic. Ron Washington maybe he can fix Anderson.

Biggest weakness starters going 4 and 5 inn. Starters need to go longer into games or bullpen will be toast. 

I have very little confidence with Estevez after the way he pitched in second half. I like Andrew Wantz in this group. Bachman was hurt a lot. My concern is starters can only pitch 4 inn. If BP has to pitch 4 and 5 inn every night bullpen will be an early burn out. Need starters go 6 to 7 inn.

Burnes is for 1 year. Wait till he becomes a FA then sign him. Angels do not have a lot of assets to trade. I'm for patience on any big spending this off season. It would be 5 years of Yellich going into mid 30's soon. 

In HS I avoided the sophomore slump. I just repeated my freshman year. 

Young pitchers like Silseth and Daniels add these 2 with Canning, Detmers and Sandoval. Angel's please do not spend 100 or 150 or 200 mill on a pitcher
