My guess is Minasian will be methodical about it.  I doubt he just mass fires / removes most.  He'll probably have a trial period with most of the staff that remains and see who he can integrate into his vision and who needs to be replaced.
So far, the additions sound great.  Curious to see who else he is able to import.  I think one area we really need to grow and develop is our international scouting department.  Hiring the crosschecker from the Dodgers is a great first step.

I'd guess that most of the people hired by Eppler get replaced.
It's still kind of unclear on who is and isn't remaining with the organization. Eric Chavez and Ben Francisco were both Special Assistants to Billy Eppler, so I'd assume they aren't going to be with the organization moving forward, but there hasn't been any mention of their statuses.

Right - that's the key thing.  How often do we see teams like the Dodgers grab a Chris Taylor, Max Muncy, etc from other teams and then help them make changes to become great players?
So, all the jokes aside, that is what I am referring to.  Minasian has said that for us to improve, we do need a number of our own players to grow and improve.  Part of that process is having a collaborative approach that goes across the entire organization, from Minasian, to Maddon, to the minor leagues, etc - the ability to utilize advanced analytics AND scouting to help achieve better outcomes.
Canning and Buttrey, for example, have a lot of potential, but Canning has sorta stagnated and Buttrey regressed significantly.  If we can provide them with access to better information (and scouting) than they had previously, which I feel Minasian's team can help provide, then we can see significant improvement across the board.
It will take time to implement this strategy, but it's not an insignificant change.  It's how the Dodgers have become what they are under Friedman, it's how the Braves keep getting better under Anthropolous, and it's likely how the Giants are going to be very soon under Zaidi.

    I think you're right.
I asked about Bailey again today, was told he was the guy who essentially in charge of creating the way information was distributed up and down the system and was not directly involved with the analytics end of it.  Basically the way it was explained to me he created or built the actual software and some of the AV tools.
Farris is believed to still be with the organization.

If the new front office could help players like Barreto, Rengifo, Jones, and Thaiss develop, that'd be huge. At the very least, those players need to be at or above replacement level. It kills the team every year when players like them are producing negative WAR.

I know that both Strangio and Martone left, but I'm not sure if either of them was running the analytics department.
They hired Kevin Ferris from the Rays a couple of years ago to be their Director of Quantitative Analysis, and I kind of figured that he was in charge of the analytics department. I believe he's still with the organization, but maybe he wasn't in charge of the analytics department.

Maddon seems to be pretty open to ideas and concepts.  I wouldn't be surprise to see Minasian's FO help brings some ideas to Maddon, which in turn get implemented on the field.
I'm not talking about leaps and bounds of changes, but I certainly could see some minor/modest improvements from our pitching in particular, which can be a reflection of pitch-calling/sequencing, as well as defensive shifting.
I feel Minasian has learned from one of the best minds in the game, and I'm hoping we can see some of that translate to production on the field.
Minasian seems like a guy who understands the need to blend different approaches.  Eppler, OTOH, seemed a bit heavily focused on certain analytical types of things (spin rate, etc), and perhaps got too into the forest to see the trees, so to speak.  Maddon's comments about having some players go back to basics and stop focusing too much on launch angle, etc, kinda foreshadowed Eppler's demise, IMO.

Might as well throw out a random prediction...
Angels acquire Carlos Carrasco from Cleveland on January 25th.

The Angels figure to add starting pitching, but the odds that the Angels acquire a starting pitcher in the next week are significantly lower than the odds that they acquire a starter from December 26 to February or March.
So I'll say no, the Angels don't get a starting pitcher before Christmas.

I also feel like San Francisco could be a team that swoops in for Bauer. They have shown a willingness to spend money on pitchers in the past, they've stated they want to add more pitching, and they're a very analytical team with smart coaches, which would likely be very appealing to Bauer. Also, his agent/significant other(?) is from the Bay Area and grew up a Giants fan.

Well there's the answer to the other topic question -- Maddon (likely to assume Perry too) thinks we need TWO starters to add to the rotation.  Whether one includes Bauer or not is the issue. But either way, they think the answer is two SPs.

I'd love for the Angels to get at least one more quality setup-man type bullpen arm. Whether it's Hand, Bradley, Greene, or someone in a similar tier.

If Perry has actually convinced Arte Moreno to invest into the front office and baseball operations department, that would be huge. It feels like the Angels have lagged behind in those areas compared to other teams.

The way I see it right now is:
    1. Bundy
    2. Heaney
    3. Canning
    4. Barria
    5. Sandoval
Sandoval is the first to get bumped from the rotation if they sign a starter. Barria gets bumped to the bullpen if they sign 2 starters.
Ideally, they get 2 starters that slot above Bundy, Heaney, and Canning. Realistically, they get 1 starter that slots at the top of the rotation and 1 starter that slots behind either Heaney or Canning.
Also, I'd be cautious with Canning. Remember, there was a time this Spring when there was fear that he had a torn UCL. It's inevitable that someone gets hurt, so adding some depth starters should be a priority as well.

    We need two pitchers:
A top of the rotation and another high quality closer or
    Two starters

So you put Barria or Sandoval as the 5th starter behind A Starter You Acquire, Bundy, Heaney, and Canning.
Then one or two starters get hurt, and now you're putting Jose Suarez into the rotation. Do you not see the problem? They need depth because we've seen every year that they get killed when they have no depth. That's why Suarez and Sandoval had to come up before they were ready, and it might have ruined Suarez' development.

If they did what you suggest, with all the days off, everyone would get around 27 starts. No free agent SP wants to pitch less.

If the Angels sign two starters, the rotation is Starter A, Starter B, Bundy, Heaney, and Canning with Barria in the bullpen. If Ohtani is healthy, then he would be a 6th starter starting once a week.

You are acting if bumping Barria and/or Sandoval out of the rotation is bad thing, but it's actually a great thing, as it gives the Angels more depth.

What is that order for starting pitchers? Is it just random? I'm not sure that Peña is going to be viewed as a starter. Also, I don't think they should even pencil Ohtani in as an option for starters. If he contributes on the pitching side, that's a bonus.

If the Angels are willing to trade that much prospect capital, they should shop that package around and see if they can get a better pitcher than Snell for that same package.
One thing that the Angels front office would know that we don't is what the asking price for Snell is in comparison to the asking price for Márquez or Gray. The asking price could be the same, higher, or lower.
