How would 2002’s second half of season Halos rotation rate using the 1 through 5 rating?
Washburn, Ortiz, Lackey, Appier, Misc.
3 4 4 4 5

I would rather they celebrate a win than a home run. Was pathetic to watch the hr celebration when they lose 5-1.

I like having 2 long relievers in the pen. Should help keep the one inning guys from being over worked.

Yea their trade value will be amazing if they shit the bed.
Take what you can get, and bank the payroll savings.

Rengifo, Ward & Hicks shit the bed and are traded at the trade deadline. On the pitching side, same goes for Sandoval & Estevez. By October 1st, Arte announces the sale of the team, finally.

I think the Orioles are the best team in the AL. The Yankees pitchers will deal with more injuries, and NOT make the playoffs, AGAIN. In the NL, toss up between the Braves & Dogs. hopefully the Braves.

Sounds like Blum is ready to come in firing whenever Perry speaks to the media.
He talked about on his podcast that he’s gonna ask Perry which statement he previously said wasn’t true: that he was gonna be aggressive or that players wanted to play for Wash.
I kind of get the feeling that the only talking Perry will be doing with the media will be in the form of press releases, and softball interviews with Angel announcers.

Depends on pitching. If the pitching is good, they could possibly win 85 games. If the pitching is bad we could be looking up at the A's in the standings.
-
Soriano 8 k's, 0 walks in 6 innings.Averaged around 12-13 pitches per inning. Can't get much better than that.

To me, this just has the smell of a big coverup. Lawyers all over this before the news broke. Multiple stories. If Ohtani did indeed wire money, i have to think he has some culpability unless Ippei held a gun to his head. Something tells me MLB and Manfort will try to protect their biggest "Commodity'. Stock up on popcorn everyone, this should get interesting.

It would be nice if Fontenelle could turn into a major league regular at 3rd
He seems to have that " deer in the headlights "" look, similar to Adam's and Paris last season

Why? Is there a some analytics that say loosing the 1st game is a smart idea.
2002 we lost to Cleveland opening day. Then went 6-14. The rest is history.

Wayne, how would you feel about Roger Lodge as a regular, third announcer in the booth with you?
Only thing worse that that would be Lodge teaming up with Patrick O' Neal.

Any chance Dana sticks in the rotation this year ?
No. He will probably start out in AA. With a really good year there he could maybe get a look in september. That is best case scenario.

Has Jaxon hit a HR yet?
The better question is, has he hit the ball out of the infield yet?
