Sandy is pretty much pitching himself out of a job. It is sad because every time he goes out and just throws strike after strike he does really well, with low pitch counts. Problem is he has only been doing that about 15% of the time over the last year plus. He is supposedly our ace. If Wash is going to stand by his comments about producing or not being on the team, he should be replaced if there continues sucking in the next 2-3 games. If not, what Wash said won't happen, and anything he says will b e nothing more than flapping his jaws.

You forgot Tier Shit.

He might become similar to a couple of former Angels pitchers, Rudy May and Andy Hassler. Decent players with us, but pitched better after a change of environment.
Amazing how players play better when they are on better teams.

I will be surprised if the Angels win more than 2 games the rest of this month.

The Sandoval experiment has gone to shit. Perry it is time to shovel that shit out of here.

When Wash was hired, he said something to the effect that you produce or get replaced. Time for some changes.

A different way to lose every night.

Shit just turned into diareah.

Then every single team needs two long guys.
Teams that have a pen full of guys with options would not need 2 guys, because they can bring guys up & down regularly to rest them.

he should be up in the majors, with one of Fulmer/Suarez being DFAd.
The team shouldn't be carrying 2 long relievers.
The starting pitchers lack of being able to regularly average 6 innings pretty much mandates the need for 2 long guys. Otherwise the pen guys will be pitching every other day.

I would keep Fulmer over Suarez. Suarez has shown himself to have no value. He has no roster flexability for the team or any other team at this point. Fulmer provides roster flexibility and has pitched much better. Should be an easy call.

Starting to look like whoever Elias took with him from Houston to Baltimore might be having an effect.
Yeah, the guys in the Orioles scouting department have hit grand slams on all those early draft picks.

This is how stupid the Rendon stuff has become.
That is one of those "size 10 neck & 2 hat" stats. How many games has Rendon batted in front of Trout? Maybe, 15?

Time for Fulmer to warm up.

2 hours 20 mins according to the box score...has to be one of the quickest games I've ever seen to be honest.
Shortest game in Angel's history, July 16, 1962. Was 1 hour 32 minutes. Angels lost 4-1 to the Senators. I was there.

How much longer is Sandoval going to be a pitch hog?
Recurring theme since the beginning of 2023
Doubt he makes it out of this inning.

Sandoval Sucks. Too many pitches. Too many walks. No composure.

Fair enough, although I am not sure I'd consider two more seasons long-term, especially with the possibility of him getting DFA'd before then existing and, more importantly, a 0% chance they sign him after his current contract expires. In any event, I have a much larger issue with Hicks and Sano getting starts/at bats over Adell & Moniak.
Very good possibility.

Baltimore will only score 10 runs tomorrow.

Has he even pitched in a game so far without giving up runs?
