I remember hearing the details of this court case.  If I recall correctly, they said in terms of the law, Frito Lay had it in the bag, and that if Pringles didn’t comply with the ruling they would be thrown in the can.

I view the values in there like I view property values on Zillow.  Generally speaking some valid information, but I often find individual properties that are just way off.

I don’t know how much a double double is either.  I just know when I pull my family through InNOut, whatever total they tell me after everyone has ordered always creates a moment of “that seems so fair for what we just ordered.”
We were on a family road trip (my family of four and my sons girlfriend—5 total people) in December and pulled through a Carl’s Jr. in Burbank.  Everybody ordered and it was $80.  No kidding.  $16 per person.

Yes he was absolutely brutally bad.
But if we want to be honest, Jim Abbott in 1996 was far worse. 2-18, 7.48 ERA and 1.75 WHIP.
So who legitimately has the crown for worst Angel starter ever in a single season?
Jim Abbott owns that honor, single handedly.

I agree. I love me a quarter pounder, but not because it actually tastes like a good burger it tastes like a quarter pounder.

It's getting harder and harder to take it seriously when the greatest player of the last nearly 100 years isn't in, and arguably the greatest pitcher of all time isn't in, yet Herold fucking Baines is in. When judging a players moral character becomes the biggest part of the process, the Hall becomes meaningless as a baseball institution. They ought to change the name to "Hall Of Cool Dudes Who Were Pretty Good At Baseball Too"

Do you “not care” about PEDs or would it be more accurate to say you accept that the use of PEDs was widespread and we have no mechanism to know who did and who didn’t use them. . . and believe that it is probably pretty reasonable to believe that when guys like Bonds were juiced in the batters box, the no-name middle reliever he was facing very well could have been also “juiced”?
I just can’t give in to believing that the problem was like 90% contained to high-profile famous sluggers, as most discussions on this subject seems to go.
I am “forgiving” of some of the big name guys labeled as cheaters (in the context of being HOF worthy) mostly because I absolutely don’t believe that the use of PEDs wasn’t far more widespread among starting pitchers and relievers across the league.  So did Bonds really have an “unfair” advantage when he was certainly facing juiced pitchers on a regular basis?
It just can’t be resolved in any fair way, so I kind of chalk it up to it simply being an embarrassing characteristic of an era in the game.
Do I like Barry Bonds?  No.  Outside of this subject, the guy was a complete dick.
But I also don’t want to measure his greatness by that either.
Anyway, I am curious if you somewhat just accept the PEDs as a widespread issue of an era in the game that can’t really be properly addressed or resolved by just conveniently persecuting a handful of the KNOWN “guilty” players.

This comment hits home personally.  There has been a screw in the tire of my wife’s car for a couple weeks and I haven’t bothered with it yet because we haven’t needed that car for the last couple of weeks.
But I am going to need her car to be ready to go next week.
So I am going to take it in Friday or Saturday.
The point is obvious but I will also say it.  The progress and timeline (and strategy) of many projects is driven by a deadline, not the starting line.
It is really a bit silly to be fixated on this situation in the context of the amount of time from the lockout to the next publicized date of talks.
The parties involved have a much better understanding of managing the timeline and deadline than fans.
