  1. i agree with your assessment. the qb's and ridley, tate are worthless as keepers. you can get more productive players at the same round or later.
  2. there's a ppr flex league for frequent angelswin posters that i started last night that a moderator felt competed with this league for some reason, so they moved it off the main forum. after this standard league is filled, if any more members want to join a ppr flex league check it out on the official sports central forum of angelswin. sorry if my tone is edgy, i got my rhubarb rubbed. i'm providing a link to the forum: http://www.angelswin-forum.com/forums/topic/15822-fantasy-football-league/ i'm checking pm's as the league fills.
  3. i'd like to thank whomever for moving this for no goddamn reason at all and moving the "official" league to the main board. what a bitch move. the other league is nearly full. it's not a freaking competition guys, the leagues aren't even the same type. unbelievable. could we move it back to the main board? just so guys can see the two leagues and get them filled, then we can move or delete the thread for all i care. in any case, we have 2 in with some invites out waiting for acceptance. as previously stated,
  4. august 28th @ 7 pm. standard scoring, 1 ppr and replace one wr spot with rb/wr/te flex.
  5. i'm going to respond when we get at least 9 total responses. laamike, i'm thinking this week at night, something like 6-7 pacific.
  6. i doubt it's official because i'm not the guy for that, but it would be a league of members here. if chuck wants in, he can call it whatever he likes.
  7. i just tuned into this thread, been gone most of the weekend. this thread is an abortion.
  8. i'd like to have another team this year. i've never done a flex or ppr league before and was thinking i'd like to try one. rather than find one with strangers i figured i'd invite some of you guys into it. i haven't created the league yet, but it'll be a night time draft as that suits most people. i'm thinking 10 teams, but we can do 12 if you guys end up being into it. first come first served as long as you are a frequent poster here, that's my only qualification. mariner's and ranger's fans welcome, as long as they meet the previous standard. standard draft and scoring, ppr with a flex position over the 3rd wr slot. draft sooner rather than later. any interest?
  9. i say **** it. give the padres whatever they want and get tyson ross. (although i already know there's no way he could get through waivers) GET 'ER DONE!!!
  10. how do i not hear this punchline?
  11. exactly this. we lost a MAJOR piece of any postseason dreams we may be entertaining. seriously shitty for him, the team and the fans.
  12. i've said this before, i really thought he was going to have a big bounce back year for us. he closed last year on a respectable pace and started this year off well, but he's gone off the rails again. at this point, he's totally unreliable and i'd consider him a platoon player, but the angels aren't thinking that way.
  13. neither one of those responses answered the question. i'm not talking about choo and andrus, forget those guys. i'm talking about beltre and darvish, both of whom are worth every dollar they get paid. i don't understand how the angels don't claim those guys, with the expectation of blocking any other playoff team from acquiring them, knowing full well that the rangers won't trade either of them to the angels.
  14. in internet speak, this is called weaksauce.
  15. how do those guys clear waivers? i don't care if darvish is out for all of next year. you're stealing darvish at that salary. beltre is a monster, offensively and defensively. also, stranger things have happened, but i just don't see texas trading with the angels. i think the texas fans would burn arlington to the ground if they traded either one of those guys to the angels. although, one can dream.
  16. i don't follow how the thread title and the viewpoint of the post correlate.
  17. tell that to angel fans that have watched him nearly singlehandedly win games against us, multiple times.
  18. i don't think anyone blames posey, other than eric. everyone i've spoken to at most realizes posey was the catalyst for the rule and not responsible in any way.
