    i'm a believer that rasmus could be converted to an effective starter. he's got the number of pitches and the velocity. it'll be interesting to see if the experiment continues and works, if they'll look into for next season. it would give him plenty of time to get stretched out.

    let's not all slit our wrists. cj isn't a scioscia created problem. he's his own problem right now. who the hell else is scioscia going to start? also, can we get the word "scioscia" added to the AW vocabulary list?

    i'm a cj wilson supporter, but he's failing to show up when we need him. he's got to find another gear or he's just hurting this team and their goals.

    the only thing keeping me from putting some action on that is my steadfast rule of not betting against my interests. i want the A's to lose.

    not to steal your thunder, but dunn's retiring at the end of this year. i'm all for him getting the 245 k's he needs in the last month of this season.

    ...and that 5 spot excludes all the promotions they've made to the major leagues the past two years. they are incredibly young and talented. if it comes together, and in some respects it already has, then they'll be a very dangerous opponent sooner rather than later.

    this is the honeymoon that preceeds an awful marriage between dunn and the A's. he's not the prince charming he seems to be.

    i think disarcina might underestimate his own spoken lack of knowledge on the astros.

    no way to know that. the angels have been down many different times this season, but they've gotten back off the mat and rallied. the A's have the character to do the same thing.
