There could never be another captain like Jeter, so why bother trying.
Give everyone an "A" and call it a day.

So happy the Rangers stayed away from Karlsson. Not much tread left on those tires.
Loving the Jacob Trouba trade. NYR gives Winnipeg back the #20 pick that they had given them for 25 games of FA Kevin Hayes, plus extra-extra defenseman Neil Pionk. One of the best trades they have made in a long time.

Murder Mystery on Netflix. Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston star in this piece of trash. Perhaps the worst movie I have seen years. Do not waste your time.

Very surprised no mention of Breakin II: Electric Bugaloo.
That one is a personal favorite of Mr Wicked

Yep. Tough to beat that scene.
Read that link I posted above. It was actually a lot worse than the movie...
Great read. Thanks for sharing.
I have to wonder how I would have handled myself...

That opening scene from Saving Private Ryan is scarier than any horror movie.

I remember a few years ago when there was a trade rumor of Mets sending Harvey to the Red Sox for two prospects named Betts and Bogarts.

Godzilla. Better than the other one. Too much human story line. Not enough monsters. But it's in my DNA, so it was like the best movie ever. For everyone else, probably only if you like these types of monster movies.
I saw it Monday night. Weak storyline, but the special effects were great. Big for having old man Lannister in the cast. Favorite parts:
SpoilerWhen Godzilla and Monster Zero destroy Fenway Park, and when the Titans all bow down to Godzilla at the end......

Have you heard how the same day ticket line/demand is? They're out of the reservation tickets thru this weekend, but seems like something they would want to see.
Sorry I missed this. I have heard it gets crowded on the weekends, but same day tickets during the week are easy to get.
If you have time, in the same area is the Frying Pan. Cool bar on a lightship, with great views of the Hudson River. http://fryingpan.com/site/

So, I take your plan is to propose to your GF at the Mets game, right?
If that’s the case, then you need to act soon. It just so happens that my buddy runs the scoreboard, and for $1000 he can put your proposal up on the jumbotron. PM me for his bank info for an immediate wire transfer. It’s usually twice the price with such little notice, but I told him you were with me.

I haven’t been to the Oculus yet, so I can’t comment. Looks cool though. Along those lines, try out The Vessel at Hudson Yards, and the High Line. They are right next to each other. The Vessel just opened so I haven’t tried it yet. Just make sure you are in good shape because it’s a lot of stairs.

No, we let them go a year or two ago. Kids are getting older and busier, so we don't get down there as often as we used to.
We are going to Disneyland for three days (July 7-10th) on the way to Aulani. Hoping the crowds aren't as scary as they are predicting with the opening of Star Wars land.
