With how much the Orioles are going to suck this year...probably not an issue getting tickets. It's also such a cool stadium that you don't need best seats in the house, part of the fun of Camden Yards is heading out to the porch area behind right field, grabbing some bbq and drinks.

Totally agree. My Yankees fan friends go all the time.

Also, there is always a big turnout of Mike Trout fans, friends, and family from south Jersey, as it is a little closer, and a lot cheaper than trekking to Yankee Stadium.

Yepper. I remember watching an interview with Mike Scioscia a couple of years after the WS victory. He said that when Disney took over he and Stoneman were called to a meeting with Disney officials, and in this meeting they were told, unequivocally, that Disney had no intention of building a championship caliber team because the ROI did not justify the expense. They wanted a team that would be consistently good enough to keep the fans coming to the stadium to maximize profit. After the meeting, Sciocia and Stoneman talked and agreed that they would work behind the scenes, without authorization, to put together a WS winner.

The World Series victory is on Stoneman and Sciosia, not Disney.

Sounds like a script to another sequel to Major League.  Major League IV: Screw the Mouse

I hope they don't sedate him like they did to these guys.

Can never get enough of that picture. Those 4 blokes would fit in nicely with our pitching staff this year, especially the two on the right.

We pretty much paid Madson $3.25 million for that picture. First and only time he put on the jersey.

  4. Craig Landis is his name. A lot of people who aren't Angels fans have never heard of him, but the guy deserves credit. He has taken care of Trout with smart, and generous contracts twice now. This was done without the fanfare that Boras brings to the table. No 80 page binders being sent to Arte, and then leaked to the press. No public airing of the negotiations trying to get the public approval of a major extension.

    Well done Mr. Landis!
