    We all do.

I tell myself that had it not been for the Hamilton deal Arte may have been more willing to treat the AP signing as a sunk cost and move on from it but that is likely wishful thinking on my part.    All BS aside... that run of Wells, AP, Blanton, Hamilton has to be one of the worst string of bad moves on record by any one team.

FWIW, feels bad lumping AP with the others as his issue is he got old -- the others were bad bets at hello.

Sorry, just looking for any excuse to use this picture.

  2. Probably the most fun I've ever had at a baseball game, was thanks to Bobby Knoop and the Yankees fans. I was at the old Yankee Stadium for a game between the Angels and Yankees, late 90s. We were sitting in the lower deck by 3rd base, and Bobby Knoop was the Third Base coach. Yanks were getting killed, and the fans were getting drunk and obnoxious. They started busting Bobby's balls, constantly yelling out to him. "Hey Ka-Noop, do something". So after a while, he starts joking around, dancing to the stadium music, making faces, etc... Everyone is cracking up laughing. Finally, he came over to the wall, and our section gives him a standing ovation. He points to me, since I was the only one with an Angels jersey on, and the crowd starts to boo me. All in good fun though. Great night.

Now it's an inside joke with my friends, whenever we see someone we know standing around, we say "Come on Knoop, do something"

Possibly big news that could pertain to Trout signing an extension here, instead of the Yankees.

Yanks sign their current CF to a long extension, well past 2021. At least contractually, their outfield is set for a while, assuming they would chance playing Stanton out there much.

Do you really think that the wealthiest franchise in MLB will let Aaron Hicks stand between them trying to sign the greatest player of this generation (IF he becomes a FA)?

Facebook marketplace works pretty well. I’ve bought a few things that way. Very low key.

Agree with Facebook. There should be a free local "marketplace page" where you can list stuff for sale. It has worked great for us anytime we are doing a spring cleaning, or getting rid of stuff the kids don't use anymore. People race over to buy it. List it in the morning, gone by the afternoon.

“I don’t think I went a day this offseason without someone asking ‘Hey, when are you coming to Philly?’” Trout said. “I can’t predict the future.”

Hopefully he's getting annoyed by all the local Philly fans constantly bothering him about it, and clogging up his social media pages, and he will prefer the more relaxed atmosphere he has in Anaheim.

ha, no. This trip to Florida was planned several months ago. It will be the first time I could hangout with my two oldest kids who are now young adults. We'll be staying at our rental in the Tarpon Springs, FL for the week. Really looking forward to checking out the Tampa facility as everyone says the Yankees ST stadium is a miniature version of Yankee Stadium. I've been to the Phillies Clearwater stadium 3 years ago and it was by far the best one I've been to and it's only 15 minute drive from my house.

If you have the time, try to get to a game at JetBlue Park, the Red Sox spring training facility. They did a great job building the Green monster in Florida. It's about 2.5 hours from your place, but worth the ride. Stay a night, and catch the Twins too.
