Soriano has got what it takes to be a really good starter. He was still hitting 99 towards the end of his start (around 70 pitches) so the velocity held really well. All in all I'd say it was encouraging for his starting prospects. Needs to just trust his elite stuff and not overthrowing. Also that first inning was just flat out stupid.

Mike Trout really should be hitting 2nd

Schanuel’s on-base streak in jeapordy with the late substitution   

Rendon’s best days are obviously way behind him but also I feel like he has been notoriously the slowest starter I have ever seen since we have gotten him. The problem with him is that he always gets hurt once he starts hitting his stride. Wash should have put him in the bottom of the lineup until then though.

Why couldn't we face the A's to start the season like we always do. We would have lost still but at least it would have been closer.

If he isn't already Sandoval could really use a sports psychologist.

Don’t really care if he’s signed or not but the back and forth between the “he needs to be signed” and “he doesn’t” is really entertaining.

Didn’t want Snell on that type of deal and the fact that it’s the Giants and not the Yanks or Astros makes it even better.

Im not giving Snell this contract just for him to opt out after year 1 with no playoffs leaving us without a second rounder. All for people to be happy we signed someone who is obviously better suited for a legit contender on that contract.
