Again, it would appear AW has been so dumbed down that your best posters legitimately believe Bundy and Teheran are the answer.
I feel legitimately sorry for you. I provide numbers and you throw a tantrum. I offer opinion, and you disagree. I offer common sense and you cover your ears.
Sorry guys. The Angels rotation sucks at this point in time. There's just no way around that. And if you can't recognize that, it's either because your choosing to ignore the obvious or you're just that plain dumb. I can't answer that for you.
For the most part though, what I'm seeing is a large collection of individuals that are smart enough to be stupid homers. Alas, hope springs eternal. And some things, will never change.

Um, the independent blog whose link I posted had far more optimistic a view of the Angels than you expressed, Scotty. I’m just using public projections. Yet somehow you and others are so down on the Angels’ pitching that you don’t even trust places like Zips or the analysis from the link above that are not from Angel fans.
You've said in the past that Szymborski at Fangraphs hates the Angels, but his projections put us in the high 80’s wins-wise. In other words, that’s if anything a pessimist perspective. It certainly isn’t an optimistic one.
My own opinion puts roster and coaching change effects slightly higher. I calculate as constructed we’re around 88-92 wins. An addition like Jon Gray likely bumps our low end to 90, imo.

Oh and you have those starters having ERAs of 6.36.  So once again, instead of calling me an ass, please look in the mirror when you are accusing someone of exaggerating.

It’s ok to not like the moves the team made and not exaggerate how bad the staff is going to be.

GregAlso reacted to Second Base in Pitcher List on Angels starters in 2020
    So to summarize....
The Angels have four #5 starters. Two of them are the inning eater types (Teheran and Bundy), one of them should be better (Heaney) and the last figures to be better someday (Canning).
The Angels are probably going to have the worst rotation in baseball, among teams that will contend. I mean the Yanks, Red Sox, Rays, Twins, Indians, White Sox, Astros, Rangers, A's.... They're all better than the Angels on the mound.
The real reason why the Angels will contend is that offense. They figure to be every bit as good as any team in the AL outside of Minnesota.

Well using the logic posted by NarrativeLand The Yankees and Dodgers shouldn’t say anything because the Astros beat them on the field of play.   In other words complete nonsense.

No org has made comments. Players from Dodgers and Yankees made comments. Dodger players made comments at their fanfest. They were both directly effected by the behavior in the playoffs so it makes sense they commented. But no organization has a made an official comment, not one, not even the Dodger or Yankee organizations. They were told they couldn’t. Players have made comments when they were at events where they were asked to comment. Get the facts straight.

It was to avert the potential problem of teams having 14 pitchers and creating even more endless pitching changes than we have already.

The 2-way player rule isn’t to solve an old problem. It is to solve a new problem created by having 26 players on the active roster. When they expanded the rosters they expressly didn’t want the new player to be a pitcher. To make that happen they created the player designation. They expressly wanted the 26th man to be used for a position player. This then necessitated the two-way player rule.

What an awful read.  He seemed to spend more time condemning the whistleblower than owning up to the bs.   They might be better off not apologizing than following Keuchel's lead.

Imagine if we had signed this clown and he were doing this at an Angel event? I think he shoulda just kept his mouth shut. This is one right up there with Harvey Weinstein’s attempts at apologizing. “I mean it was consensual.” “Everyone was doing it.” Pathetic

So, make excuse....then act like it was technically against the rules, but not that big of a deal....then give a half-hearted apology about the way things turned out  (getting caught).    He would have been better off just shutting up.   At least he didn't predict the White Sox would be in the world series....

Here’s is what is being billed as the first player apology. It is by Keuchel. It is a pathetic apology, more of a rationalization. The writer seems to screw up one of the quotes so maybe there is more there but it can’t be that much. Glad this dude isn’t our pitcher.

Another interesting tidbit in here is about Adell. With all the talk about trading him here is what ZiPs think he will be in his prime. Hint: we don’t want to miss it for sure.

“In terms of rest-of-career projections, ZiPS has Adell right around Aaron Judge, Christian Yelich, and Luis Robert, forecast to hit .270/.350/.500 with 30 homers a year in his prime.”

Just for some clarity about what these projections mean here’s a quote from the blog posted above.

“With these projections suggesting a team with win totals in the high 80s...”

just saying this conservative projection of ZiPs still suggests we have the best team we’ve seen in Anaheim in years. So there’s that. 🤷🏻‍♂️
