I don’t blame you.  I went to the Red Sox and Yankees this year.  The fans are obnoxious and loud, so it’s annoying.  They are also numerous of course.  But I never felt threatened or anything.  That’s not to say fights don’t happen. I’m sure they do.  But there is definitely something different about the people the Dodgers bring out.  I’ve been going to those games for years.  It’s always the same stuff.  Throwing shit, grabbing people’s hats.  Thank goodness that’s never happened to me.  Honestly I don’t know how I’d react.  I’d probably end up in jail for the night.  Anyway, they go way, way out out of their way to be antagonistic.  There’s always drunk idiots.  Angels fans as well of course.  But like I said, it’s different with the Dodgers fans.  They’re entitled.  Their stupid.  And without hyperbole.  A lot of them act like violent trouble makers.  It’s not just at Dodger stadium.  Angel stadium is close enough that they bring it there also.  This year I had tickets to the two games.  I didn’t go to the second one because I didn’t feel like hearing their shit for 3 hours.  That’s a me problem, but whatever, Angels didn’t give us much to cheer about this season anyway.   First time I’ve ever done that.  So I felt bad about it.
I so wish the Angels would roll out some program to encourage Angels fans to not sell their tickets for some of these games.  The Vegas Knights have a neat program where the fan signs a pledge to not sell their seats at certain games and they get discounts and other benefits.  It would make for a much better stadium experience for Angels fans.  Which should be the concern for the Angels.  Also, There’s obvious benefits for the Angels if their stadium doesn’t look like an away game.  Or 50/50 at best.  
I get people who sell.  If it helps you afford the tickets more power to you.  It’s not their problem.  But for people who don’t have to do it, I bet a program like that would go a long ways to making sure they go to the stadium for these games.

Here is your response, nobody knows where they would have been as far as opinion in the past.  Would you like to believe you would have believed Dred Scott was a person?  Sure, but it would more likely be more based on where and how you grew up.  Would you like to have believed you would have supported women's vote?  Sure, seems like a no brainer, but you can't say you would have for sure.  People are right and wrong all day every day.  Opinions are opinions and we all have them.  I guess I am right on some and wrong on others.  I don't care if you include me in your "group", I just think that your statement above is baloney.

did you just compare a 39yo QB from 45 years ago making 100k in 1972 (equivalent to 600k in today's dollars) with a year to year contract to a  38yo 1bman who started the year with $114 mil left on his contract?   talk about mind blowing. 
so much of what people try to draw a conclusion from around here is an attempt to make everything black or white.  
Albert gets his spot because they owe him a ton of money.  
He also gets a spot because they didn't think Cron was good enough to replace him outright 
He also gets a spot because baseball teams in general give their veteran players the benefit of the doubt 
He also gets a spot because he's a strong clubhouse guy
He also gets a spot because he's a future HOFer that the Angels made a commitment to and they want to preserve the impression that free agents can sign here and be respected based on their accomplishments.  
These are all weighted differently and there probably more reasons that contribute to Albert still having a spot.  
Frankly, I'm not in love with any of those excuses, but they're all real and they all matter to some degree to various people in the org.  
Would I have rather had Cron at 1b over Albert in 2018 and going forward?  Absolutely.  Am I dumb enough to think that all of those things are going to be ignored to gain a win or two in the standings?  of course not.  
He'll be gone at some point but he's not going to be cast aside like Luis Valbuena or Raul Ibanez or Danny Espinosa.  To think otherwise is delusional.
