    I know that no one else is shedding any tears, but the injuries for my Penguins this year are bordering on unbelievable. The one to Jake Guentzel is heartbreaking. Named an all star for the first time, scores goal 20 of the season, which is career point 200. On the play, trips on dman, awkward into boards, wrecked shoulder, out for the year.

    Those guys are terrible. If they butcher the NC the way they routinely butcher their other assignments, they might lose their jobs and be forced to work in the NFL.

    Happy New Year! My favorite halos memory is just a culmination of all things Mike Trout. We are so lucky to get to watch his greatness day in and day out. That sounds overblown, but is absolutely true. Board related. I love this place for several reasons. I read everything team related, but tend to post more in the hangout forum. DR has given us some beauties over the years. Still, i have to go with the epic thread after the guy violated his table.

    Im thankful that the Angels/Lions/Penguins can give some escape from real life problems. And more frequently, real life gives me escape from Angels/Lions/Penguins problems. And as ever, thanks for the site, Chuck.

    Bengie Wally Grich Simmons Glaus Trout/Vladdy/Downing Baylor Witt, Weaver, Finley, Washburn, Lackey Percy Lots of tough leaves. Carew, KRod, Erstad, Dicinces, DiSar, White, GA, Salmon, Edmonds, Lynn, Boone, Reggie, could go on all day. A little too young for Ryan, Bostock, Tanana, etc, but aware of their impact.
