Gary DiSarcina was let go by the Nationals.  He might be a good interview for the manager's job.
He has front office and coaching experience with several teams, including the Angels.

I was there. Such a great memory. Hope we get to experience it again.

So, we trade Trout, lose Ohtani.  No one renews or buys season tickets.  Who'd come to watch what is left?
From an ownership standpoint, revenue would go into the toilet.

So, we sign him for 2024.  Problem solved.

I really don't know.  What I do know is this.  The Giants are being run by people who were once employed in the Dodgers organization.
Hasselman came to us from the Dodgers organization.
The only sustained success that this organization has ever had was when it was being run by Mike Scioscia, who came from, you guessed it, the Dodgers organization.
I don't think it would be so bad to invest a few dollars more into the farm system, scouting and player development, and try to copy the Dodgers business model.
Maybe if we do that, the Angels can have sustainable, season after season, success.

If they wanted to stay in house with an organizational guy, there is always Jack Howell, who was the manager at Tri Cities last season, IIRC.

Not really.  If Ohtani goes, then the DH spot is open.  We have the 4 OF, like you said, and we needed every one of them, and then some.  If Ohtani leaves, we'd be a little light on LH power.
Bellinger also plays GG defense at 3 positions, RF, CF and 1B.  So if Schaunel somehow needs some more development time, Bellinger is a very good 1B option.

I'm starting to come around to the possibility that we may actually field a better team without Ohtani, health permitting.
Trout and Rendon would both benefit from time as the DH, time that they can't have while Ohtani is here.
The financials could be spread among more players, possibly leading to a better on field product.

I'd have interest in Yamamoto.  I think he's capable of double digit wins.  And I'd really like Bellinger.  His bat came back nicely, and he plays gold glove defense at 3 positions, CF, RF and 1B.  He'd be nice to have just in case we run into another wave of injured players.

The density of some people.  Mike Trout has a full no-trade clause.  Based on his performance alone, over the last 3 seasons, Mike Trout is untradeable.  Any team that tries to trade for him guts their farm system and everyday lineup, and they go over the cap.  Except Oakland.  And Mike Trout isn't going to Oakland.

This one isn't on Roberts.  Kershaw is pitching hurt.  Urias is suspended.  Buehler is hurt, May is hurt.  They are relying on Lance Lynn, and some talented rookies.  The Angels offense got hurt, the Dodgers pitching got hurt.
Either way, the results aren't pretty.
