I would think this would be a subject where you'd want a person to be soft and not hard.

It would be such a shame if people couldn't have high-capacity magazines anymore. I mean, how else will we defend ourselves when ISIS and Obama's Army storm our neighborhoods?

Holy shit. Are you trying to use 'the Biden rule?' As a gotcha.
Damn. Where the hell were you a year ago...oh wait, you were still a bernster.

The reason nothing got done was because the Republicans obstructed Obama for eight years, but that was OK...right?
Oh, I get it, it's OK for cons to obstruct Obama at every turn. It's even OK to shut down the government and threaten our credit rating..that's OK as long as Republicans do it. Mitch McConnell said that his main mission was to make Obama a one term president, that was OK also. His main concern wasn't terrorist or the security of America..it was to play political games.
It was even OK for that asshole to shout out that Obama was a liar at the SOTU Address.
Enough is enough, Democrats need to get tough with Republicans just as they did with Democrats..what comes around goes around and if Democrats that are in Congress can't stand up and fight then it's time to replace them with people that will, otherwise the Republicans will run over them just like they did when they shut down the government and failed to live up to their Constitutional requirements when they refused to consider Garland. Cons haven't complained about only having 8 justices for over a year, so they shouldn't mind going another year or two.

cals reacted to Oz27 in Angels nearing multiyear deal with Luis Valbuena
Is anyone else surprised by our plans for Valubena? It appears much of his playing time will come at first base...
"It looks like C.J. Cron is going to have to fight for his at-bats this year.
After officially inking Luis Valbuena to a two-year, $15-million deal with a mutual option on Tuesday, Angels general manager Billy Eppler said Valbuena will see significant playing time at first base."
http://www.ocregister.com/articles/deal-742042-angels-completed.html
I find it strange for a couple of reasons. Firstly, Cron is probably a better hitter going forward. Marte might be too. But more than that, Valbuena can play at positions where he can be much more valuable. Fangraphs' projections put him down for a 97 wRC+ this year, which is fine for a second or third baseman but pretty terrible for a 1B. I didn't mind the signing when it was assumed Valbuena would spend most of his time at 2B/3B, but if we were looking for 1B help I can't help but wonder if Chris Carter would have been a better and cheaper option. I know Valbuena gets value from his versatility, but if the plan is for him to spend "significant playing time" at 1B much of that will be lost to us.

Do you deny the absolute cluster fuck that Bush and the Republicans left for Obama? You can't be serious..really?
We were losing 750,000 jobs every month when Obama took office, Wall Street was on the verge of collapse, the auto industry was about to go under, and people were losing their homes daily. The economy was in a shambles, it was the biggest financial crisis since the Great Depression! Not to mention two wars raging in the middle east. Compare that to when Obama left and if you are at all honest you'd have to admit that his administration did a great job considering he was obstructed practically every step of the way by the Republican Party that was more interested in defeating Obama than helping the country!
And what did Trump contribute during that time when America was in crisis?
Answer..He went around the country claiming Obama wasn't an American with his birther shit.
Sorry, but I think your memory is a bit selective
