    The location of the team makes no difference to me whatsoever. The location of the team is not why I became a fan since I’m not from SoCal. They could move to Canada and I wouldn’t care.

    With lockout going on I’ve been thinking about how lucky we are as Angels fans to literally have the two best players in the sport on the same team. It’s pretty insane when you really sit down and think about it. 
    There may be some problems with how the Angels handle things and the moves they have made over the years… but man are we lucky as fans to not only be alive and witness these two titans but also be able to root for them on a daily basis. 
    I for one cannot wait for the 2022 season to  (hopefully) start and get to watch these two hit back to back every night. It should be spectacular.

    There may be some problems with how the Angels handle things and the moves they have made over the years… but man are we lucky as fans to not only be alive and witness these two titans but also be able to root for them on a daily basis.

    Actually the more I think about it the more I like this signing. He has so many outlets to help the team.

    Ruth wouldn’t stand a chance in todays game. Played against mechanics and old men. Now with Mays and Mantle, competition was much more fierce by then. They would stand a better chance for sure. I think Williams would actually be a .300 hitter still in todays game.
    Any star player from 1975 and up could probably still hold their own in todays game.

    Stretch him out before the season starts?
    58M/4yr for a potential quality starter, not a bad deal if he’s willing to do it again. We can always change course mid season. 
    We’re whiffing on stable SP, so at this point, find more plus arms for the BP. Loup has closer stuff.
