O'Hoppe is the third ranked Phillies prospect:

Most thought O’Hoppe was destined to head to East Carolina, where his father and uncle attended, after graduating from his Long Island high school in 2018. But the Phillies’ scouting department, which has found draftable talent on Long Island consistently over the last several years, was able to sign him in the 23rd round of that June’s Draft for an over-slot bonus of $215,000. After playing rookie and short-season ball his first two summers, O’Hoppe gained invaluable experience catching at the Phillies’ alternate site in 2020, using those lessons to go from High-A to Triple-A before finishing with a strong showing in the Arizona Fall League.
O’Hoppe has put in a lot of work to refine his approach from the right side of the plate. He trimmed his strikeout rate down considerably in 2021 (17.4 percent), then walked more than he struck out in the AFL. All of that has allowed him to tap into his raw power more consistently and it’s easy to think he could top 20 homers annually in the future. He’s already proven to be a very capable defender, one who receives and blocks well and whose arm plays up because of his quick release and accuracy.
The backstop’s work ethic will help ensure he makes the most out of his tools. He was named the Dernell Stenson Sportsmanship Award winner in the AFL because of his makeup and pitchers love working with him. There’s a big up arrow next to his name, with every chance of him being a starting catcher in the big leagues soon.

Dont know how people ever watched Naked and Afraig, but Melanie Rauscher who was on the show passed away.  
I met and got to know Melanie through Slow Pitch Softball here in Prescott.  She was a site supervisor and later a player, while I umpired her games.  She was a fantastic person.  She was taken too early.  My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to her family.  She will be missed by all that had the please to know her.

Don't like it.  Part of the game is human error, both the players and the umpires.  Players need to adjust to the umpires strike zones.  For the most part the umpires do a solid job.
 

The California Angels. 

This was my way of thinking when the Rams moved...still cannot root for them....But since then, I have relocated, so if the Angels moved....I would still follow them.  Now...if the moved from Tempe...and relocated...that might be a different story.
My wife may not agree, but I am not as much of a fan as I used to be.  I still enjoy the game, enjoy watching, coaching...but it's not like everything is put on hold if a game is on TV.  

I went thru this when the Rams moved to St. Louis. Had no interest in them or what they did, and when they won the super bowl, it was irritating.
If the halos moved out of state, my loyalty to them would also leave.

If we continue to employ a six man starting rotation and a 7 man bullpen, someone like Fletcher is going to be very valuable to us.
One bench guy who can handle multiple positions on defense and hopefully handles them well.

We just picked up tickets for the 24th of March...This will be 21 consecutive years we have been to at least one ST game.

For so many reasons, no. 
1. The Angels almost certainly checked in on him, but now their rotation is settled.
2. Odorizzi would needlessly displace multiple pitchers. We just read puff pieces on Heaney, Canning is clearly a big league starter, they wouldn't acquire Quintana or Cobb just to stick them in the pen. They certainly aren't moving Bundy or Ohtani to relief. 
3. Payroll really hasn't gone up like many thought, but Minasian has still spent around 25-30 million which is what most of us believed the budget to be in the first place. Arte had always been generous but strict in his budgets. 
4. As much as we don't like it, the current rotation leaves room for the possibility for Barria, Sandoval, Suarez, Naughton, Detmers, Rodriguez, Faria, Guerra, etc.. To rise up and take a rotation spot at some point in the year. It isn't ideal, but you need to leave that door open, particularly for Detmers, Rodriguez and Barria. Odorizzi effectively closes that door. 
5. As much as we've been critical, the numbers back up Minasian's strategy. The first three starters carried a 3.91 ERA, the next three, an ERA over 9. The top three weren't the problem, it was the bottom three. Ohtani is back, and they've brought in Quintana and Cobb. Odorizzi, as good as he is, doesn't solve last year's issue.
6. The bullpen lead all of baseball with 14 blown saves in 28 chances last year. 50% is absolutely atrocious. Getting Iglesias, Claudio, Rivera and Sleggers helps a little, but they need more help. Relief pitching is so unreliable and at this point, the only way that bullpen develops into anything reliable is if two of those guys (along with Buttrey) pitch effectively to bridge that gap to Mayers-Iglesias. Furthermore, with starters expected to go less and less, bullpen depth will be tested more and more. They need a very solid middle reliever. Odorizzi doesn't fix that either. 
Odorizzi is probably going to be a solid pitcher in 2021 and 2022. Just not for the Angels, I don't think.
