if someone could combine his reaction to both the throw to 2b and the Pujols hr., it could change the dynamic of this entire franchise.

I hope Pujols wears a Cardinal hat in the HOF, because he has done little while here and it is looking more dire at every AB.

We should have signed Saunders and his 6.09 ERA and kept Morales. Vargas stinks

I would not trade Hamilton for Ethier. I would much rather have hamilton's contract than Eithier's.
That is how little I think of Eithier as ball player.

I believe it's a stat that is being mismanaged. I hate that a pitcher's role is limited by their number of pitches. Growing up a pitcher's performance was judged by their performance on the mound. If they looked gassed or missing their spots, then they were taken out. Not because they hit 100 pitches. The PC is now consuming a pitcher's role. It's a stat that is now being followed inning by inning. A pitcher can be 3 innings in with 50+ pitches and the focus turns to the amount of pitches. He could be throwing a shutout with 5 k's but the concern is if he could last til the 6th. Who cares if he's making the outs.
 
If a pitcher has 30 pitches and giving up tons of runs, then they pull them out. But if they have 100+ pitches and allow a runner or two, then they pull him. Doesn't make sense to me. If a pitcher is coming off rehab, then the PC is a legit concern.

Are home grown.
 
Can we stop signing big name free agents and stick to a great minor league system while supplementing with the once in a while FA signing?

We are 12th in runs scored and 12th in runs given up in the AL. Sounds like half to me

Blanton was a terrible signing, but that doesn't mean we should have kept Santana. That was the right move.

What the **** do you expect us to say AJ? I still have faith in Dipoto but I am ready for a manager that is a little more intense. This team is playing awful plain and simple. I firmly believe that the two big signings the last two years were generated by Arte and they are playing like crap. Dipoto built a team that he thought would outscore their opponents, sadly that hasn't been the case.

He's 23. He's too old for A ball. He should have been called up 2 years ago to AAA when he was still in college
