I took the comment the way that I believe that Albert meant it. He is willing to do whatever it takes to help the team win. Nowhere did he say that he would be a great shortstop or that he would be better there than who we have. I'm taking it to mean that if another situation came up like last night in KC, he would be willing to give it a go if that is what it came down to.

Is all the desperation worth giving up another young guy?
It's clear as day the Angels need a competent LF to make a deep run, and GMs know they've got them by the balls.
Some of you act like LFs grow on trees and Stoneman can just pick one tomorrow.
This place will be "make a move. Make a move. Make a move" and then a deal will be done and it will either be "this guy we got sucks" or "why did we give up that guy for a rental."
Our farm isn't loaded anymore. No team is just going to give us the piece.

Even if we're not going to trade for someone, which we clearly need to do, Navarro and Green types are way better options in LF than Joyce is. Robertson obviously is too but I know he's hurt.
