Quinlanforthewin got a reaction from Angel Oracle in Gameday Thread: 5/10 Angels vs. Cardinals: Nava hitting 5th
This needs to be brought up more often, I feel like the injuries are going to be the excuse for the season but the offense is healthy and completely awful

We suck.

A Ryan/Pennington platoon could be the shittiest platoon in baseball...barely behind the Nava/Gentry platoon and the Murphy/Victorino platoon from last year.

I like how Scioscia keeps deflecting the blame to the pitching staff and says he isn't worried about the offense. The offense is fucking horrid dude. What are you talking about?

Quinlanforthewin reacted to tdawg87 in Gameday Thread: 5/7 Angels vs Rays
This is bad.
I'm afraid the narrative this year will be "oh they just suffered too many injuries" when in fact this is just a horrible baseball team.

Quinlanforthewin reacted to CaliAngel in Gameday Thread: 5/6 Angels vs Rays: Nava is back
The Rays pull the ultimate Angels move by loading the bases with nobody out and not scoring a run.

That was a pretty fantastic relief appearance by Guerra

Quinlanforthewin reacted to wopphil in The Angels should consider trading Trout - ESPN
The only thing they should consider is when to offer him a $400,000,000 extension.

Before that AB, he was hitting .192 with a .259 OBP, so, yeah.

LOL championship core? Who else exactly makes up that core?

Quinlanforthewin reacted to Chuck in Orange County Register: Angels Notes: Daniel Nava's return will lead to choice between Ji-Man Choi, Rafael Ortega
Very easy, which means we're going to get Feather****ed again.

Wait our starting lineup actually features Choi, Ortega and Pennington. No wonder the stadium is empty.

lol can't believe I listened to Mota and Lodge spew the same BS this afternoon about Pujols being locked in yesterday so all is fine

Quinlanforthewin got a reaction from TroutField in Gameday Thread: Mariners @ Angels 4/22 7:05
I remember when I scoffed at the idea of signing Seth Smith to be our LF or Michael Saunders...now both would be a significant improvement

Quinlanforthewin got a reaction from stormngt in Gameday Thread: Mariners @ Angels 4/22 7:05
Sure wish Trout was still on base, he needs to always be running to avoid the GIDP as long as Pujols is hitting behind him

Quinlanforthewin reacted to Chuck in Greg Mahle is here to stay
I agree.
Hopefully Salas gets a pink slip soon. We have way better arms in AAA.

Quinlanforthewin got a reaction from nando714 in Gameday Thread: 4/8 vs. Rangers - No Gia, No Cron
1-3 to start the year could easily be 0-4. Can't wait to hear the Angels "media" put their spin on it.

Quinlanforthewin got a reaction from Vegas Halo Fan in Straight Up Terrible Execution Offensively Thus Far...
Lester is a very good pitcher, but if you're team expects to compete for a playoff spot I would expect the offense to be able to at least get a few solid hits at least off of him. He's not Arrieta.

Quinlanforthewin got a reaction from Angelsfirst in The Official Opening Day Gameday Thread: Cubs vs. Angels (4/4/2016)
eh, 3 runs in 5 innings against the best pitcher in baseball is giving the game away. He was facing the best lineup in baseball though so can't really knock him.
