I wouldn't be so sure about that Nate.  I doubt Larsson gets a full time role with the team this year. 
Ive said it before and I'll say it again.  I think Megna is a pretty predictable quantity.  I think he's perfectly adequate in the role of a 4th pairing dman this year.  Probably even as a 3rd pairing guy.  I'm higher on him then some of you guys and I think he's going to be a pretty solid blue liner period.  He plays a basic stay at home game and doesn't fuck up.  Which is a fine quality.  He's also a massive dude that skates decently.  Which is also good.    4th pair d is what Beauch is appropriate for at best.  I don't even think he belongs in the NHL tbh.  If they're planning on giving big mins to Beauchmin I believe it's going to be a problem. 
Seriously, go on YouTube and watch some of his play from last year.  He's terrible guys. 
Anyway, at the end of the day this isn't a huge deal.  It's depth, not good depth but whatever.  It's just kind of the cherry on top for a really disappointing offseason like I said before.
 

I don't get it either.  As @UndertheHalo said, would have rather given the minutes to Megna.  And with this signing, I even question the Holzer deal even more.

I'm fine with this deal. Simmons for 5 more years with A++ defense is much better than anything Aybar provides. Prospects are not a guarantee. Nuke has a great chance of being a front of the rotation guy in 3-5 years. I think this means we're going hard after FA pitchers. Price, Greinke, Zimm, Cueto, etc. Makes no sense to trade these two pitchers and not go all in on FAs.

For real fans of baseball, and not just petty ones worried about their own team, it was awful when Mike Trout went down with an injury in May. Baseball is just better when Mike Trout is playing. Despite having missed 40-plus games, Trout's offensive season is so historic that he should absolutely be in consideration for the AL MVP if he keeps it up. 
Currently, Trout's got a 208 wRC+, which is good for 20th in the post-Dead Ball Era going back to 1918. The only other player on the top 20 list in the past 60 years is Barry Bonds, who has done it 4 times overall. Only 12 players have had any season with a 200 or better wRC+ since 1918, and all but four of them are HOFers. Two of those are Bonds and McGwire, one played half a season in 1919 and only 1220 in his career, and then Trout.
At the current pace, Judge, Trout, and Altuve will all finish with over 8 fWAR if they remain healthy. I'm certainly rooting for that as well as the crazy MVP cases for each player.
One thing to consider is even with historic numbers, voters tend to overlook them in favor of players who played the whole season, like Kershaw in the NL Cy Young voting last year.

Even if by a miracle this team makes the playoffs. They're most likely going to get stomped by Houston. Anything can happen in baseball but looking at this team right now. They're no where close to being a contender. Mike Trout gives us a puncher's chance though.

Everything will go fine until hist first rehab start. Then he'll feel "tightness" in his bicep, and be shut down to be "re-evaluated". 
If he pitches again for this team I'll be shocked. 

Even without SCSA there it was probably the best RAW of 2017 easily, if not the past few years. Every single segment was fantastic. The crowd was into everything. Even the cruiserweight match wasn't entirely boring lol. They officially announced No Mercy for Staples Center in September too. I got to see Kurt angle and YOU SUCK chant him and I got to see the Hardy Boyz. Childhood dream come true, man.

I don't think the Ducks are gonna get fucked over tomorrow. I think it'll be very underwhelming compared to what could've been though. Thought for sure this would be the time to finally trade for that top 3/6 FW using Vats and other pieces. Obviously, doesn't look like that's happening. Maybe GMs were playing hard ball with BM knowing he's desperate to save as much as he can on the roster.
