About 8 years ago when I was heavily doing these Angels podcasts and interviewing media/players I remember keeping a strict code of conduct with how we carried ourselves. Although I was about 20 years old at the time, I tried my very best to be as professional as possible. We wanted to grow the Angels fanbase and make them feel like the 10th player by having fun but doing it respectfully. You're representing your fanbase and comments like these should have been heavily monitored/edited. I will be honest, I don't think he did mean harm by it. Obviously because he's white there are a bunch of people taking that out of context, but for the love of God this isn't how you represent your team/fanbase. You don't deserve a podcast/following if this is how you're going to represent yourself. What really pisses me off is you have guys like Jared Tims with Talkin' Halos, @Chuckster70 with Angels Win and what I tried doing with Angels Nation Talk that put in a ton of work to try and grow something for Angels fans taking things seriously and then you have trendy accounts like rocks in the outfield that get a bunch of glory and then completely take it for granted.

Should have traded him last season when his value likely peaked.

Few takes on these quotes..... If you raise prices like Dodgers stadium and others then theoretically that 60% you spend would be more.... I would have been happy with a new owner. Mainly because I don't think things could have gotten much worse. Rise the prices, dude. It's Orange County.... People make good money here. I'd rather pay $40 per ticket than the $5 ticket that comes with a half full stadium and the Angels losing 8-3. Parking: Angels parking: $10 Ducks parking: $20 Dodgers parking: $30 Beer: Angels avg $4.50 Dodgers avg $6.75 Mets avg $12 Average ticket price: Angels: $63 Dodgers: $108 I appreciate the low prices, but if 60% of the revenue goes to payroll then i'm more that happy to pay more to get what we need. I'm sure a lot of Angels fan would agree.

Anyone who writes on here or any social media platform is attention seeking. We all want our opinions to be seen. Otherwise none of us would have social media or be on here.... -

Sam isn't my guy. I haven't been a fan of him, but i'll call it where I see it and I respect him for being vocal about it. -
Tom Verducci Exclusive Interview with Arte Moreno

Spreading the money around is fine as long as it's for impactful players. In terms of Free Agents we signed Drury, Moore, Anderson, Estevez and Phillips. Trades included Renfroe and Urshela I just worry about how much of an impact they will make at the end of the day. Would have been nice for Arte to get all this + Turner. Or - Anderson, Drury, Renfroe and Turner. -

To be honest I like how Sam isn't afraid to call it as it is. It may not come off as PC or professional, but Sam does have a good point. He's saying out loud what we've all been trying to say for years. -

No bars? There's a shit ton of breweries right next to the stadium. Although I do agree that the stadium lacks a lot -

Victor Rojas was an advisor for an investment group to potentially buy the Angels. Thanks Arte...... -
"But"..... Never fun to hear

Possibly, but just in terms of fun options. Backup options from the 40man roster: Canning, Rodriguez, Soriano, Wantz, Weiss, Davidson, Garza, Ingram and Marte But the other interesting options could be a mix of Bachman, Joyce, Murphy and Torres. It might not be best bullpen in baseball (yet), but there's some interesting fire power hiding in the minors.

I'd halt the breaks on that. I think a few years back he mentioned he was making a serious push for Scherzer and he went elsewhere. I'm still cautiously optimistic, but his comments on that are about as good Arte telling us he was going to sell the team. If Trout's words were that strong with players/front office, then we would have been in the playoffs years ago.

Stassi had a career year at the plate back in 2020 (as did most random players) and has been, to me, boring since then. Sanchez brings some defensive help. Fairly good pop time and fairly good arm. The bat? Yeah that's been lost since 2017 BUT, he's got some good power and hits slightly better than Stassi so pick your poison. Personally, I like Sanchez.

How confident are you in this bullpen?
angelsnationtalk replied to Angel Oracle's topic in LA Angels | MLB Daily
I know a lot of "evaluators" think our bullpen is trash, but i'm extremely exited about this bullpen. I think it's top 10 and usually i've become pessimistic about this team. The Angels have a BUNCH of wildcards that could help the bullpen at some point. Bachman, Joyce, Murphy, Torres and Rodriguez are potential options which makes this very very fun. -
