That is a good/fair question. Would you rather have Robertson and Briceno or Bullpen as it is and a guy like Grandall?
I guess that depends on how much faith one has in Cozart and Calhoun returning to form, so I'd probably go with Robertson and Briceno.
-
Adding this guy would ensure that we enter the season with a very good pen, but who would they be pitching to? Without an increase in budget, we will be going with who we have.

Don't particularly like the Mariners.
Don't like Dipoto at all.
Don't believe this for a second.

One fact that seems to be left out of the Machado discussions is his knees. Both knees have had the same surgery and, according to the below article, there is a high chance of recurrence:
https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/0363546510376230
"The success rate of MPFL repair for preventing recurrent dislocations was 72% (21 of 29 knees)."

I can watch that 100 times and laugh just as hard the last time as I did the first.
Me too. That is absolutely hilarious.

Which is why they asked for Robles who appears to be ready or why they asked for Bellinger. I wouldn’t give up Bellinger straight up for Realmuto.
Nor would I, but I do think there is merit to the Realmuto argument.

We could do worse than Wieters.

I once asked Tank if I could be him just for a day and he got mad. Told me to go away.

There might be somebody out there who switched to pitching at 26 and was a success but I can't think of who that might be. Percival (and others) switched earlier in their minor league careers, I think....Cowart should have done that, if the team gave him the option....
I think Mychal Givens was about that age when he switched.

Right now I wish I hadn't opened AngelsWin this morning. What a horrible event.
RIP Louie.

Who among us doesn’t enjoy pouring over the game logs of Angel greats like Curtis Pride ?

Good OBP guy, but he seems a little redundant.

Good hire for them and more of a brain drain for Houston -- so good for us. Flip side is that there will likely be one less dumb team and that's not good for us.
Although Peter's sons are in charge now, their last name is still Angelos. Let's not count them as a smart team just yet.
-
It looks like Mike Elias will be the O's new GM, and perhaps Mejdal will be leaving Houston for Baltimore.

Most of us have probably entertained this thought at one point or another. It's not realistic, but it sure is fun to think about.

I'm not defending him ... I'm simply saying prove it. Innocent until proven guilty and all that.
Why was she ok staying with the organization allegedly doing this and only not ok with it when she didn't have a job?
I thought we are supposed to believe everything women say.
I BELIEVE WOMEN!!!

You're right, it shouldn't be close. Ohtani has proven himself to be the most unique player to come along in generations. Unfortunately, his injury has provided the Yankee obsessed media enough wiggle room to give the award to their favorite son.
Don't be surprised come Monday at anything that happens. -
Not that I would gut the farm for an aging pitcher, but I don't see where Kluber and Corbin compare. Kluber is an Ace. Corbin is an average pitcher who had a good year. Big difference.

Unless you are Bruce Lee, then it's just daily exercise.
If Bruce Lee was still with us, I would send him a Giant's jersey and some Dodger tickets.

Well, Britton was coming on stronger as the season progressed. Maybe he is a candidate for a one year contract to reestablish value as a closer?
