Cozart puts up >7.0 WAR and is 3rd in MVP voting
Can I get an honorable mention?

Go to a whiffle ball made from super ball material.

5%. Nats will ask for too much
I'm sure their asking price is high, but the acquiring team will be able to recoup some of the price by making a QO, no?

Slater's?
That's the place. Fantastic food and beer.

When I saw the title I thought this was a thread about that burger place 50/50. Half beef and half bacon. I'm hungry.

Robert's and Scioscia went to sushi bar after the game and toasted some sake. So all is good.
Sake toast? Is that like a vodka watermelon?

Very well then. I stand (sit?) corrected.

Yes, John Lennon didn't believe in WAR.
Now you're just making stuff up.

One of the dumbest posts I’ve ever seen on AW.

The highest OPS of his career came at age 37. His second highest OPS came at age 39.
Perhaps you should follow your own advice before opening your idiotic mouth.

One could throw Aaron into this debate. He certainly peaked late.
-
I'm not a Harper fan, but how about looking at the whole picture? A BABIP more than a hundred points below his career average and an OBP of .352 and OPS of .821.

I didn't see an option for Hell No, so I just voted regular No.

I have a question for those who enjoy the human element; Do you realize that resentment, jealousy, and favoritism are part of being human?
20 years ago I had a friend who was a major league ump. If anyone thinks that their mistakes are always accidental then you don't clearly understand what the human element entails.

With 2 outs and RISP here's his line: 1.000 1.000 2.429 3.429
7 for 7 with 2 homers, 2 doubles, and a triple
Not too shabby for a pitcher.
I posted this in another thread the other day. On the flip side of Ohtani's coin is his opponents' OPS of .345 with 2 outs RISP while he is pitching.
Dude is a two-headed monster.

No, a sprain is a tear. A strain is like a pull.
Nope. A strain is acute damage to a muscle or tendon. A sprain is damage to a ligament. Grade 1 is a stretch. Grade 2 is a partial tear. Grade 3 is a full tear.
-
Gotta give it to Heaney. Outstanding effort oh his part. Calhoun earned an honorable mention.
-
An interesting note: Ohtani with 2 outs RISP.
While batting; 7 for 7, 2 2B, 3B, 2 HR, 11 RBI, 1 BB 1.000/1.000/2.429 3.429 OPS
While pitching; 9 PAs.125/.222/.125 .345 OPS

I voted Vladdy Jr, but I'm not sure if I was just being sentimental. Ohtani seems likely to be the more valuable player in the long run. Much more valuable actually.
