  1. World is going to end if he ends the season tying with Trout in those two categories.
  2. If that is the case, I'm very surprise Trout won the AL MVP despite the fact that he's playing for a West Coast team. People will still not be convince that the Angels are for real since it's still early in the season and the fact that they have struggled to make the postseason since 2010.
  3. I thought MLB wanted the umps to stop calling the low strike. Guess not.
  4. Pujols might continue to break out of his early season struggles since I remember him having a lot of success against Hamels. 2 years ago, belted a bomb off of Hamels in the game #162 for the Angels.
  5. I laughed so hard at that Trout's smile. Anyways, that's Trout, he makes pitchers work.
  6. And that one week could make the difference between making and not making the postseason. Remember 2012? Started 2-5 that year in the first 7 games of the season and just missed the postseason despite winning 89 games.
  7. Had a feeling the Angels would have a great defense this year. Sure there were a few mistakes like the Trout error at Oakland but overall, team has a good defense. Maldonado has been terrific behind the plate. Good influence on the pitching staff. Hitting should get a good grade as well, Probably an A-. A little streaky but still terrific. Pujols get an F+ though, if going by stats. I'll give pitching a B- since outside of Chavez and Nolasco, everyone else in the starting rotation has been shaky so far. But the bullpen has been a bright spot.
  8. Chuck, if Pujols go homerless for the month of April for you guys again like he did in 2012, I will be laughing so hard. In 2012, I was like," What the (bleep). We're into May and Pujols still doesn't have a home run yet!" But if he hits .300 for April without no home runs, I'll still be okay with that since the home runs will come once you start getting hits.
  9. And if Bedrosian had blew the game for the Angels, you would say, "Fire Scioscia!"
  10. This must be an April Fool's joke.
  11. Back in the day, in this spot, the batter at the plate for the Angels would bunt here. Not these days.
  12. More like an inaccurate throw but still, a double.
  13. Indeed. A great player with a great attitude, unlike that one year wonder from the Nations that is Bryce Harper.
  14. A strikeout is an out. Ain't matter. Tell Escobar and Calhoun to be more patient then. Won't listen.
  15. Don't like having free-swingers on my team. Made Felix worked for that strikeout and that was a debatable pitch. Guess the ump wanted the inning to end, LMFAO!
  16. Jesus Chavez Be funny if 2017 Chavez is 2014 Shoemaker.
  17. So Trout should have 3 stolen bases already and no zero. Sweet.
  18. Pujols being selfish again. Trout had that base stolen and Pujols chased a bad pitch. Let Trout steal! Damn!
  19. No doubt. Scioscia was like the best manager at one point during the game even though that was years ago. Liked the way he wanted the players to play NL style baseball with bunting and moving runners over. And doing things like stealing bases because they did not have a big time power threat outside of Vlad. These days, it looks like he has abandon that philosophy. Last season was tough but in his defense, any manager would have had a tough time winning games with their pitcher staff last year.
  20. Angels starting off good in April? Must be an April Fool's joke.
  21. If Trout walked in public in downtown LA, a lot of people wouldn't even know who he is. Like Trout cares though. People are more interested in football and basketball more than they are interested in baseball.
  22. Calhoun's underrated. Dude's a gamer. Can hit, play defense, and gives you his all every single game.
  23. Some people just can't stay healthy it seems. Like Josh Hamilton. I know every Angels fans hate Hamilton because he stunk it up in both of his years as a Halo but anyways, dude just could never seem to stay healthy, even when he was great in Texas as well. And then, there are others like Cal Ripken who are durable and rarely misses games, if any at all. Richards could be one of those players who gets hurt like every year. Which would be unfortunate because his ceiling is "ace" pitcher. Proved it in 2014 before he got hurt and missed the final month and a half of the season.
  24. Great way to get your first hit with a new team: a game-winning 3-run home run off of a really good pitcher in Ryan Dull (no pun intended).
