Probably means he isn't available, then, barring an overpay.

At #1? I'd love any of the top three college players (Dollander/ Gonzales/ Crews). In that sense, #3 is almost as good as #1 in my mind.
#10? It really depends on who falls, but Langford is a guy that should advance relatively quickly, has a power bat that could DEFINITELY stay in the corners-- or could become the 1B of the future.  There's also a nice bunch of toolsy prep bats that would be nice to nab here.

It's the Angels, so naturally we'll end up with pick 16 or something.

Jharel Cotton also made a lot of appearances on Bill Hezel’s Twitter this last year, so I have a hunch he’s someone the Angels are checking in on. Dillon Tate also had a ton of activity on Hezel’s tweets, as much as Sandoval, Cobb, and Ohtani almost, and could be shopped by Baltimore.
I like Chafin as an option too. Will Smith seems like he’d maybe be on the radar also, if the Angel want to simply want to add a high volume of vet relievers with closer experience and go by committee or play 9th inning match-ups.
If the White Sox are wanting to shed some money, matching up with them for Hendrix and/or Anderson does make sense. Have to think Rengifo could be of interest to Chicago and could be a cost-effective infield option for them, and Anderson could be a stopgap for guys like Neto to emerge.
I really like Arraez, even if he is more of a 2B with defensive limitations. The offensive profile fits our needs really well. It’d take quite a few things dominoing for that to make sense though (such as signing a pitcher and sending a pitcher to Minnesota)…one loco scenario? Angels sign Swanson, trade Suarez + Adell + idk Canning/Daniel for Arraez, then ship out Rengifo for a controllable RHP SP to replace Suarez. Only add Swanson’s money in that scenario, and lock-up 2B and SS for the near-future.
Sick Lineup: Arraez 2B, Trout CF, Ohtani DH, Rendon 3B, Ward LF, Renfroe RF, Walsh 1B, Stassi C, Swanson SS
    Bench: Back-up C, Urshela, Fletcher, Soto/Velazquez, Moniak
Rotation: Ohtani, Anderson, Sandoval, trade from Rengifo, Detmers, #6 (Silseth, Canning, etc.)

Not a big move but I wouldn’t mind adding Chafin to our pen.  ERA under 3 for the past three years. Struck out 10 per 9, walk rate is consistent at 3 per 9. Last two years he has given up virtually no home runs. Solid WHIP.

Only need one of Devenski, Walters, Webb, Valdez, Holder to emerge too, an la Blake Parker or Bud Norris.
And I suspect we sign at least one more MLB deal reliever still, perhaps this week.

We should call the '82 Brewers and kick the tires on Robin Yount.

Same reason people always fixate on guys like him.  They have actually heard of him or seen him in highlights.  Five years from now when his skillset has eroded and the things that make him attractive as a player are gone they will still want to acquire him for the same reason.

My issue with Kiner-Falefa is that he’s never posted an OPS over .700 and his OPS+ last year was just 84.
He seems like he’s basically just another Fletcher type, but a little faster and can play catcher a little better.
If we’re adding a SS, id rather add a guy doesn’t seem at risk of regressing to a more super UT player.

If we're giving up on Rendon, we might well throw in the towel right now. We aren't competing if Rendon is toast. That said, even injured Rendon was the 6th most valuable position player on the team last season (in only 47 games and less than 200 PA), and was still slightly above league average as a hitter.

You’d have to think he’s going to be the third highest paid SS on the open market after Turner & Correa and maybe get as much as Swanson.

I have been very skeptical of Minasian’s time as GM.
The Anderson, Urshela, and Renfro deals have been way more in tune with what I’d like to see, and I’m coming around to the idea that the Maddon divide was causing some roster issues.

Three arms for a year of Renfroe.  The only one I am remotely bothered with losing is Seminares.

Love this move. This is exactly the type of move(s) I was hoping from Minasian. Hidalgo could end up being decent, but with limited upside. Urshela gives multi-positional depth, a high floor of offensive productive. Replace 550 PA from Wade/Velazquez/Mayfield with Urshela, and last year's offense improves drastically. Plus, he's a solid back-up plan if Rendon gets hurt again or Walsh sucks.
