    With Soto again on the DL, Smith and Escobar the only two trade possibilities. There was interest in Soto, but not anymore. I don't think much will happen.

    The Angels might be face-to-face with the most important 6 game stretch of their season. It begins tonight when they host division leading Texas for 3 games. Following a day off, it concludes in Houston with a 3 game series against the second place Astros. The Angels are 4-6 vs Texas but have won just once in 9 meetings with Houston. They're right where they want to be, playing the teams they need to beat. It's either shit, or get off the pot!

    Angels (8-3) have gained 5 games on Texas (3-8) in the last 11. 14 1/2 back puts them in striking distance. The Rangers are in for 3. Perfect opportunity to get back in the race.
