I find it hilarious we signed one of the best relievers on the market and still everyone is a total twat about it. Well done Angel fans. 

100% @Torridd. It's OK if you're critical when it's warranted, I know I am, but if that's your angle most of the time on social media, here and in life in general...I ain't got time for people like that.

Like most people said, it was more of an interview about him as a person and not a baseball-heavy talk. 
As Stradling said, if you want to give him the benefit of the doubt, he comes off as a genuine nice guy, who tries to stay humble and is trying to use his faith to guide his life. If you think he is a horrible person, then I guess that's what you will hear. For my part, as a Angel fan and a human being, hope he bounces back and finds some health and success!
Quick notes:
His off-season is consumed by his 4 kids and they are making him realize how fast life is travelling by. 
He's a WW2 history buff and enjoyed the recent Netflix documentary. (Reminded me, I need to check that one out!)
Talked about how he got into hunting and why he enjoyed it. Got into it in college and enjoyed the comradery, and also the focus and "quiet time" aspect of it.
Feeling ready for the  season, trying to focus workout program on dealing with the wear and tear of so many years of baseball on his body.
Thinks the key to winning over the course of the season like he had in 2019 is having an incredible team chemistry to help carry you through the inevitable ups and downs of a season.
Enjoyed his time with Dusty Baker and his approach and honesty.
Excited to play for Washington, has met and had conversations with him before, but has only talked to him on the phone since he was signed as manager. 
When asked, stated he definitely did not think Ohtani was coming back to the Angels.
Asked if he could be appointed commissioner and change one thing about MLB, it would be the length of the season.
The rest of the interview he was asked about his faith and his journey and he talked about that, and the teammates who helped him on his journey.

I enjoyed the interview.
I know a lot of fans don't like him.  Some of it may be warranted.  Some of it may not be.  I'm not happy that he hasn't been on the field much, but that's about it.  I'm a fan.  I like him.  I root for him.  I hope he has a monster year.

Is this a serious question? 583 HR does it. 157 wRC+ for his career. Dude was a monster, especially when he was roiding. He also admitted he was taking stuff, I believe - and it wasn't illegal at the time.
But obviously the big crimes (as far as HoF exclusive) are Bonds and Clemens (A-Rod, too). Both are among the top two or three players in their category (hitter and pitcher), and both had established HoF statistics before they roided. Plus, "everyone was doing it." That might seem like a lame excuse, but it was the nature of the game at the time. Don't tell me Jeff Bagwell wasn't roiding up.
Bonds' 2001-04 was the best offensive run in major league history. His 164.4 WAR is second only to Ruth, and double that of many Hall of Famers (triple that of quite a few). He accrued almost 100 WAR before he even started roiding. Clemens' 133.7 WAR is the highest of any pitcher. Alex Rodriguez is 13th in career WAR. These guys were truly great players.

When you look at Lofton’s offensive numbers and compare them to Ichiro Suzuki, who is almost certainly a HOFer, Lofton, should have been given much more consideration.

He's fine, but he'll probably get paid like a #1/#2, when he's more of a #2/#3 (to me, at least).  The Angels certainly have room in the budget for him, though.

Dodgers, obviously are winning the offseason with the Ohtani and Yamamoto signings, plus the Glasnow trade.
Rays obviously are on the other side of the Glasnow trade.
Yankees did add Juan Soto.
Diamondbacks added a pitcher, E. Rodriguez, and a hitter, L. Gurriel Jr..
Giants added Korean Outfielder Lee.
Braves made a bunch of weird trades.
Blue Jays re-signed Kiermeirer and signed IKF.
Tigers added Flaherty, Miller, Chafin, and Maeda. Lost E. Rodriguez.
Royals added Lugo, Wacha, and Renfroe.
 
 

Just bring the Halos - Stroman and two relievers and trade for a RF like Kepler, and move Anderson to long innings/spot starting.

Perhaps they are working on a trade or two.
