so BP and FG, the accepted sources for all things stats, are not legit to you?

Why would the Dodgers not be the favs?  Who in the NL is better?  They have the best record in the NL, are among the top NL teams in both offense and pitching. so unless you buy into Mil or Pit to beat them i think they are likely to make it barring Wash going on a heck of a run.
Once there they have nearly as formidable a rotation as the A's or tiger's so i wonder why you would think that's a stretch?

While perhaps true, still means they have a fairly easy road to the WS from the NL.
Would i make them the favorite in the WS against any of the possible AL teams, no, i would not, but when you are facing Kershaw twice or more in a series thats a nice equalizer as hes likely better than any pitcher in baseball this season.

Well then give me something positive cause everything ive said has been attacked by the powers that be so clearly no one wants to hear it and they are unbeatable.

one question.. before this trade who was the one player on the As that the other team was most afraid of either with the bat or on defense?  The face of the franchise so to speak.
im not talking WAR or any other stats for christs sake... but in that sense yes it is the same as us loosing Trout
Most baseball fans that dont subscribe to BP would have a hard time naming another A at this point.
It isnt that big a leap regardless of how much you wanna make it one...

The man has literally and figuratively saved or won more games for them than they lead us by, and 2 of them against us i think.
Losing that bat in their lineup will mean the other guys wont get as many hittable pitches, i think their overall offensive numbers drop due to this
i could be wrong of course, wouldnt be the firs time, but i dont think this is a game changer

even with 5 aces, they still gotta score some runs... losing their one true presence in that lineup will affect that.
arguably they had 5 great starters before making any trades... what they have done is weaken the offense.
run differential will be affected in a negative way i think. 
instead of winning 3-2 it will all be 1-0, lol  but there will be a lot less room for error on those starters without the offensive threat behind it

i think if you are going to toss the 8th in peoples faces you should realize that not everyone agree with what you think is cruel or unusual as that is an opinion, not a fact.
We are not talking about someone being gutted and bleeding out in agony here... there is nothing here that states he was in any pain... or even conscious or aware of what was happening to him for that matter.. gasping is little more than a physiological reaction at that point as is normal breeting during sleep
ive seen nothing to indicate this was anything more than that.. the person was not crying out, or begging, or anything else.. in fact it was described as snoring.

well, you are entitled to your opinion, and thats fine, but i could not disagree more.  It isnt retaliation, its justice.  There is a huge difference.  A person must be expected to pay for their crimes or there is no deterrent to crime.  You can feel for this man and others like him if you want but i prefer to think about those whose rights he obliterated, rather than his.  As far as im concerned he forfeited his when to took them away from others.
