No, but he did take a Rays team with a miniscule payroll to the World Series. Scioscia has always had a top 5 or 10 payroll and yet somehow the team always underperforms. Want to explain that?

It will all depend on Richards, Santiago, and Heaney being legitimate 1-3 starters.  If any of them dont meet their expectations, this team will struggle.  Luckily for the Angels all 3 guys are just entering their primes.

I wouldnt be so sure about that.  Ducks are gaining ground on Chicago very fast.  If they beat the Oilers they will be 7 points back with 3 games in hand.

Calhoun hits pretty well with runners on base and in scoring position.  Been saying it for years, the numbers suggest he should hit behind Trout.  This would be a perfect time for Mike Scioscia to start managing properly and pay attention to the numbers for once.

I dont think its smart to put any hope at all into a pitcher that is just coming off Tommy John surgery.
Btw how awesome would it be if Weaver only starts hom games. He could probably post a 3.00 ERA for the whole season if that happened. We all know Mike Scioscia doesnt pay attention to numbers though.

Im not. Because at the end of the day we just end up getting screwed because now we have no Left Fielder, no money to spend, and next years free agent class sucks.  Now if Arte got screwed like Donald Sterling did and had to sell his team because of some ignorant comments he made or something, that would be great.
