I dont know if its rock bottom, but its a close to it as this franchise has been in a very long time. Terrible at every level, horribly run, no vision no focus, unwatchable product, just.. nothing to look at and think this is where it gets better. Moreno couldnt even get selling it right since the value right now has to be FARE lower than it was at the time. It was clear to the fans what this team was, and yet they insisted it was something else. Before the last few years they never outright lied to us. Thats what i take exception to. I dont expect them to lay out the entire plan, but a little honestly and a lot less patronizing wouldnt suck.

It would achieve a lot of they would just be honest with us as fans. None of the "there are no limits", or the other silliness weve been told year after year... IF we lose fans that will be the why. I supported this team when it was horrible, i will again, but i wont support being played and/or lied to.

It never was really. For that to happen EVERYTHING had to break right, and that never happens. I thought they would be close, but Rendon down again, Neto and Schanuel not hitting, and too many journeymen in the daily lineup with no real options coming from a bottom 5 farm. This could be the worst shape the org has ever been in. Sidenote; Yes i know Sano is hitting now but hes not keeping 300 thru Aug

I get what youre trying to say, and youre not wrong, but those steps you listed are thee ones that would have escalated it and made a difference. Maybe not Rendon but there is no reason to not have traded Ohtani and at this point Trout, the man deserves better. Now were looking at the 5-10 years of sucking plan, a la Hou and Bal, before we are relevant. Which is fine i guess but again i dont want that to be Trouts legacy, or this teams with him. No owner would have done that, is not a valid excuse. It isnt like he isnt viewed as the worst or one of at this point anyway he had literally no reason not to.

Youre not getting ace level guys, pitching or hitting, drafting middle of the rounds without getting very lucky.

Im tired of losing baseball from a team that doesnt seem to care and is getting worse instead of better. You do you, but when this teams cares again, ill care about this team. Even a rebuild would be better than what weve been doing, i could support that, at least its a plan.

75-79, 3 or 4th place finish pending if Sea pitching is as good as some people think it is.

Ive been a low key Giants fan for a bit now... my daughter lives up there so weve been hitting up games and its really a great place to watch baseball in my opinion.

Honestly, Im glad to hear that your experience was different than my own, perhaps things have mellowed in the last few years. I tend to be too vocal and opinionated so i find at times its better to just stay away to avoid the dogpile, it isnt like there is any real debate in politics these days anyway.
