    Angels are a top 3 MLB team right now. Question is the same as last year. Have they dug too big of a hole? Time will tell. PB in the outfield and Vargas in the rotation are needed very badly. I felt so good for Hamilton tonight and on the 4th.

    Last several weeks we have been a top 3 team in baseball. Problem is the same as last year, the incredibly awful start with high expectations. Once we get past .500, get within 5 of our division, and pass up a couple more teams in the WC this place will be bumping.

    I keep reading all of these wishes to trade Callaspo. Maybe a NL team who needs a solid bench player would have some interest but not at the 5 mil he is owed next year. Callaspo won't net crap.

    Trumbo might be the best value for any power hitting 1b in the MLB not named Goldschmidt. His arm and D are much better than average. His flexibility to play CO makes him even more valuable especially in the NL. He would be a huge upgrade for the Rockies over Helton.

    Not the worst idea ever although it would certainly cause a panic. Besides the prospects brought back think of what 350 mil would replace in terms of loss production of Trout. Unfortunately I don't have confidence we wouldn't just throw the money at crap all over again.
