Ambivalence regarding this is probably the sanest of all positions. You can have your faith in God and still not really care if a law is passed that grants people rights to engage in publicly sanctioned contracts on an equal basis. It has nothing to do with your life, it doesn't affect your life so why care if gays get the right to engage in a legal marriage? If you are religiously minded you can bank on it all being sorted out at a later date but if you are meddling in others lives you may be jeopardizing your own status. So try to practice ambivalence towards what Caesar wants and just be happy. All of this agenda pushing is just making the divide greater and less tolerable of a world to live in.
