When I worked at McDonalds we had a pad of paper and a tax table. After about 5 shifts at "the window" taking orders I didn't need the tax table or the pad of paper. Imagine how incredibly slow a McDonalds would be now without computer registers.
This team almost makes me miss the good old days like the 1968 Angels.
Rick Reichardt led the team in all offensive categories with a .720 OPS and 73 RBIs.
Minnie Rojas was the closer with a 4.25 ERA and 6 saves.
Good times.
There are not officials assigned every 10 yards on a golf course either. If football players were responsible for calling their own penalties or baseball players calling balls and strikes I doubt you would see much in the way of honesty.
I'm betting the Masters committee is not happy that the USGA made a rules interpetation on their golf course. A rule decision that would never had been acceptable when Bobby Jones was alive.
And to think this wasn't the World Series, just an April game against the Astros. Imagine the bench if Hamilton should have a brain fart in the playoffs. Oh, wait...

If he were as accountable as Peter Bourjos he would be sitting on the bench on his bobblehead night.
Look, that play to end the game now supercedes Mathis pickoff to first on a steal for stupidity.
