It was awesome being at the game last night! Trout is ridiculous!! I miss being able to see him in person any time I want at Angels Stadium, but going to these 4 games this weekend, and him performing like this, makes it not suck as much. Pure joy to watch. The old-timers I talk to out here swear he is Mickey Mantle reincarnated. They are in awe of his talent. I get asked how Trout is doing almost every day during baseball season. They are definitely envious.

Haven't we seen enough over the past decade that landing the big names is no guarantee of success, nor is it a prerequisite for success? A desire to make a splash is how you end up making Vernon Wells style f**k ups.

I would think that Randle comes off the bench to start the season if the Lakers get LA. Aldridge would likely split his time between the 4 and 5 pretty evenly each game. Is there a defensive minded center that would come to the Lakers for less money? A Perkins type that could start but only play about 20 mins a game.

What a terrible deal that would be.
