There is a MLB authenticator at every game and he will document every thing about the ball and put a unique hologram on the ball. This will be proof that ball is authentic. He did not get that done so now there is now no way to verify the ball is the actual ball hit by Pujols. He may be fine with that the value of the ball is in doubt.
I wonder why he didn't get it authenticated? Even if he wanted to keep it, I would imagine that they would still offer to authenticate the ball. So, that way wherever the ball ends up in the future, they will know its significance.

What on earth are you talking about?
They offered a couple of signed bats. Bfd. I wouldn't want that shit either.
What is wrong with you?
Are you kidding? It was a joke. Apparently, your sarcasm detector isn't working today

very good underrated movie.
'what did it sound like?'
Yep. One of my favorite movies from the 90s. And most people have never even heard of it. Which is kind of weird, considering the incredible cast.

I'm excited for 5 years from now when players are wearing the logos of all their endorsement deals, just like in NASCAR.
This is what I'm worried about.

Maybe they'll stop those annoying 5 second ads that they've started showing this season during the middle of an inning. F*ck you, Fix Auto Collision.

Years ago, when I worked in an office that was a dress shirt and tie type of place, I was on a phone call with a client and turned to my left to see the guy in the cubicle directly across from me clipping his toenails. No shit. Guy had his shoes and socks off and the trash can under his foot and everything. I immediately told the person I'd call them back and asked the guy why he was doing that. A few of my coworkers gathered around and we were all cracking up. Dumb bastard didn't even realize it was abnormal. All he said was, "It's slow. I was bored. I didn't realize it would be a big deal."

Glad to see Fletcher in there. He's too good to be sitting on the bench every game.

That sad thing is, when I first saw this, I was perplexed, but actually thought it could be real because of how bad this team is right now and how Ausmus' lineups very rarely make any sense.

Of course, but I wouldn't bet on it.
They're not platooning the future Hall of Famer dragging his way to those exalted milestones. He'll play almost every day either at 1st or DH. I can see Ohtani being held out against lefties because of the stupid analytics/platooning BS.
I'm also starting to think this may be the case when he gets back. I hope not.

Switch Fletcher/Kole and Goodwin/Bour. Do it, Ausmus!

My prediction: No one hits over 60 home runs this season. It's early. Players start hot. Players start cold. It'll even out.
