  1. I miss hardcorefromdastreetz. Chuck kicked him out too quickly, in my opinion.
  2. Haha. Edited. I love when I'm trying to be a smart ass and make myself look like an idiot instead.
  3. Cute pup. Congrats. You should have named him Astro (like the dog from the Jetsons, not the ones in Houston).
  4. I want to see Phantom Thread. Love PT Anderson flicks. Three Billboards was great. Shape of Water was really good too. Thanks for the list. I'll definitely check out some of those.
  5. That doc is a waste of time. Can't believe I actually sat through the whole thing.
  6. They've all been good, but The Pickle Gambit was one of the funniest episodes they've ever done. Funny, funny stuff.
  7. Watched a six-part doc series on Netflix called Time: The Kalief Browder Story. Highly recommended. 16-year-old kid who got stuck on Rikers Island for three years awaiting trial. It is an alarming indictment of the criminal justice system in this country.
  8. FDA has made a policy change that will allow companies to make smaller condoms
  9. I thought the thread was going to be about this bad Judge:
  10. Los Angeles, CA (AP)- A seven-year old boy was at the center of a Los Angeles courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible. The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried and said that they also beat him. After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Los Angeles Chargers, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.
  11. Some days are diamonds/Some days are rocks. RIP, Tom.
  12. Yeah, I understand your point of view. In the documentary, he explains his demeanor and actions during the trial. I'm not convinced that he's innocent, but after watching it, it really seems as though the Modesto PD didn't follow up on all the leads and focused completely on Scott.
