This whole thing is the result of the US and the rest of the west going into the Middle East and telling them how we want them to act, while also taking their oil and installing dictators and governments that will sell us cheap oil.  It is 100% a result of our involvement there.  Before that they were just blowing each other up.

Had a talk with my dad the other day and he's an enthusiastic Trump voter. When I mentioned how much he either lied or was wrong he said "name ONE THING he's lied about!" I named a few, he denied they were lies and then started bitching about Hillary and Benghazi.

So it's kind of like a lot of the red states in the US
