Charlie Condon.... Move him to 3B... I understand he's a slated as a corner outfielder at first. His arm projects I would have to watch his footwork more to look at first step quickness left-right for the corner. He has worked out at 3B in practice. Just more time and a solid coaching staff could help. Worse case you have a 1B, Corner OF, DH with pop.

6-6 with serious pop! He mashed Tennessee..

I like his at bats, he doesn't chase.

    "I've ever saw"...

    Enough said....

  2. "“People think that once you’re a big leaguer, you’ve got everything figured out, but you’ve still got to make adjustments,” Estévez said. “That’s why you’re in the big leagues, because you can make adjustments the fastest. That’s what I believe.”"

I highlighted this in the OC Register article thread, but it bears repeating here...

This perfectly encapsulates my fears wrt Jo...

Love his work ethic, but it's his ability to make quick adjustments that is a concern...

Great article.  Read the full thing if you can, but here are a couple of excerpts:

"TEMPE, Ariz. — It was only 1 p.m., less than halfway into Nolan Schanuel’s day-long, self-inflicted punishment. And he was already in excruciating pain.

The exercise regimen that the Los Angeles Angels rookie first baseman conducted over the offseason was not recommended to him by a fitness professional. It’s not grounded in any conventional wisdom. And to pretty much everyone in his orbit, it seemed downright ridiculous.

Schanuel spent two days a week this offseason standing. For the entire day. From the moment he woke up until the moment he went to bed. His only reprieve was for meals.

It was a routine that sounds far easier in theory than it is in actual practice. And one that required a great deal of mental and physical willpower to complete.

“The first time, I was losing my mind,” Schanuel said. “The first day it was 1 p.m. and I had lost my mind.”

    “I made it,” he noted. “I don’t let myself fail. I can’t."

    ...

"And those confused by his regimen aren’t limited to those closest to him.

“It is (crazy),” said teammate Ben Joyce. “It’s interesting. I’ve honestly never heard of it. But if it works for him.”

“There’s a lot of methods,” said head Angels strength and conditioning coach Dylan Cintula, when asked about Schanuel’s exercise. “As long as he gets the results we need.”

The comment was more tongue-in-cheek. Cintula seemingly wanted to give a diplomatic answer to a question about an exercise foreign even to his expertise. Nonetheless, Cintula was unambiguous that Schanuel had reported to camp in improved shape."

    Really love me some Nolan...!

  4. Schanuel falls somewhere in the Olerud - Freeman range… Across the board (tools, make-up, personality, etc…)

    I’ll take it…

At times last year he looked like a high school kid… but he played WAY above that…

Schanuel, Neto, O’Hoppe are so fun and exciting to watch… There will be bumps, but we just need to see progression from all of them…

He is still the victim of sexual assault and this place is still full of victim blamers.

As painful, uncomfortable, and counterculture as this comment is:  it’s true...

    Signed - A notorious victim blamer…

Make no mistake: Bauer will 100% help this club… but he’s a colossal douche…

What a lamo  switching teams is for pu$$ies   I’m literally embarrassed for you

id never switch teams.  Never.  Especially not for a player or two. Not even a bad owner - I just don’t give them my money.

Ohtani, Freddie, and Mookie are 3 of the most likeable players on the planet…

    You can’t root against them…

Even in spite of Kershaw 🤣😂🤣

For the Dodgers to even think about winning a ring, that means Kershaw pitching in October. We all know how that ends. If they could just get the Commissioner to shorten every season to 60 games...

If you bail on a team because a single player leaves in free agency, you were never on board to begin with.

    Mods, a troll cage, please.

Kershaw needs to retire (for the sake of the Doyers)….

The Dogs need 2 SP, a couple of BP arms, and a closer to have a shot…

But they’re light years closer than the Angels to a WS title… And at least the Doyers have an identity and commitment to success…
