watching a Texas broadcast. The 2 pitches called strikes that missed the plate by an inch, they call good pitch, on the corner. Detmers gets a strike called on 1 an inch off and they say ....looked like a ball.

Why use Mayers and Herget in a close game, especially after their start this year. Why not use Bradley for the 7th and 8th with a day off tomorrow.

Other than Trout (and maybe Marsh), nobody knows how to work a count. The big selling point of this team is the power output. Is anyone else surprised that in the 1st 2 games, the Angels have 0 Home Runs and the other team has 8.

It's just 2 games. I'm not concerned with the pitching, yet. I think the starters will be fine. As for the bullpen, send Herget down and bring up Wantz. Use Mayers the next time or 2 in a blowout. I think Tepera will be OK. He just needs to hit corners rather than the middle of the plate.

I was a big Rams fan. When they left, I stopped watching pro football and haven't seen a game since. It's the same with the Angels. If they move, I won't switch allegiance to another team. I'll just stop caring about baseball. Hell, if they don't sign another free agent, I may just stop caring, anyway. I have a very strong dislike for Arte. I have to many other hobbies and interests to be bothered.

How about sending Upton + 6 mil to the White Sox for Kimbrel. We get our closer and free up 6 mil. Would the White Sox do it?

I like this move a lot. I would like  to get Stroman also, but would settle for someone like Gray or Wood. The ONE thing I worry about is Thor undergoing a physical. Does anyone here trust the Angel's medical staff???

Resign Iglesias. Keep Mayers. I like Warren, Quijada and Wantz. Keep the 2 that do the best in Spring Training and let the 3rd close at SLC for experience. Sign a setup man for 8 mil and a decent arm for 4 mil. That's all they need. A seventh arm for the bullpen should only be used in blowouts.

Actually makes that 2 years at 35 mil with a 3rd option.

Brian Harvey, Krod, Percival....Angels are so much more fun and far less frustrating to watch when they have a good closer. Offer him 2 years at 45 mil with an option for a 3rd year.

My name is Milt. I've been an Angel fan for a long time. I shared Diamond Club seats with some other fans for several years, 20 years ago. I was there for all 4 games when they won the World Series. After seeing or listening to every game for 10 years or so, I slowly lost interest and developed other hobbies.

I got annoyed with Arte Moreno canceling the Dodger trade last year and stopped following baseball, other than to check scores every so often.

I got interested again this spring and followed the threads on this site daily. I decided to register, so I could participate.
