One reason I miss pitchers batting is because, next time Brown came up I would've drilled him for that little snicker after he threw up and in to Ward.
That's OK. I'd rather plug Altuve, anyway.

Adell on 1st with 2 outs and you don't try to steal. You bring in a pinch runner in Tucker and he doesn't try to steal. Meanwhile San Diego keeps stealing 2B without a throw.

That might be the most important out of this horrible season. It preserves Anderson's ERA at 2.37.

Jerimiah Estrada San Diego Padres.
Last year in AAA averaged 13.5 K and 8 BB every 9 innings and an ERA over 6. The Cubs DFA'd him and San Diego picked up this 25 year old in December. After 8 solid inning in the minors, San Diego called him up and in 18 innings, he has 30 K and only 6 BB with an ERA 0f 0.50 and a WHIP of 0.72
We could use a GM like that and a development team that can help Joyce achieve that.

My friends convinced me to go to Wednesdays game vs the Padres what is wrong with me.
Absolutely nothing !!! You're in Oceanside. I'm in Fallbrook. We can both claim The Padres as out home town team.

At least no one will complain if the Angels end up in Tier 6.
Actually, I'm looking forward to expansion, so the Angels can drop to Tier 7.

Pillar is a team guy. He did that to take the pressure off Adell.

It's interesting that the Angels compared to Cleveland, have a higher batting average by 6 points and have hit 4 more Home Runs, yet they have scored 31 less runs. Not very clutch!!!

OK. I think Estevez has the mentality to be a closer. You don't save 25 or 26 games in a row without that mentality. His control is actually sharper this year. I think the problem is his stuff. He consistently hit 97-98 with his fastball the 1st half of last year. This year he hits 94-95 and his fastball has very little movement. He needs to learn some sort of offspeed or breaking pitch to fool people. He is not fooling anyone but Ron Washington.

He's hoping for a bench clearing brawl, so he can swing his fists.

ump has missed at least 10 ball-strike calls all in favor of Texas

What the Angels had the 1st 43 games turned out to be contagious and Texas caught it.

I am not a baseball fan. I am an ANGEL fan. I was at all the home games in the World Series in 2002. If the Angels are not in the playoffs, I never watch a complete game. I see occasional highlights. I am an active computer gamer and have lots of other hobbies. I am frustrated with the team now. Watching the Angels is my #1 hobby. I feel that I get more upset with loses than the team members do.
After all, when they are a free agent, they will just jump to the highest bidder or close to the highest bidder. I refuse to go where the grass is greener. I'm used to just looking at the weeds and Arte dumping a bunch of fertilizer on them to see if he can grow something, which, as we all know, doesn't work.

What the hell do I know. I decided not to watch today's game because Sandoval was pitching and Pillar was in the lineup over Ward.

I hope they stay away from trading with teams that have farm systems similar to ours, Cough, cough Yankees, cough. And guys like Anderson, Canning, Sandoval have another year of control, that should bring back much more than someone like Drury who is on an expiring contract. I would probably trade only one of those 3 starters at the deadline unless the return was so go that Tdawg would need some bunk time.
One team to stay away from is Atlanta. Minasian still seems to have some past loyalties. We got screwed royally on the Iglesias deal and giving away Herget and getting nothing but cash is mind boggling. He had some past success and could have been a throw-in as part of a package.

Does it really matter how far it goes? Do you discount homers over the Green Monster or wrapped around the Pesky Pole?
