I just went to a Bladder Cancer support group monthly meeting over at USC Norris and the guest speaker was an oncologist.  Went away with a lot of information on standard chemo and the newer drugs they are using that modify T cell triggers to prevent cancers from shutting down their defense protocols. Not exactly stunning success rates but for those that it is effective for there are very few side effects,  none of the hair loss,  vomiting or reduction in stamina. 
I hope I never have to experience that first hand.

My father in law has been incredibly dedicated. He makes sure she eats plenty, and just sleeps and sleeps and sleeps she pretty much would never leave the bed outside of chemo appointments. He even tried giving her THC oil to increase the appetite when it would slow way down, something very difficult for him to come to terms with being really conservative.

Aaaaaand 7 months later, she's in remission.
Crazy recovery.

Obviously you have never been caught in freeway traffic in downtown LA where everyone eventually gets out if their car and all spontaneously start dancing all to the same music. That's how I wrecked my ankles,  some jackass clay barred and put two coats of wax on his Buick causing three of us to slip off his hood awkwardly.

There was a small part of me that hoped his demeanor would change if he won.  That much of the exaggeration, lying and saber rattling would go away.
That small part of me has lost hope.
I haven't watched most of the interview, but I watched a couple of snippets.  He has a way of invoking unverifiable proofs for his claims.  He still loves to name drop and really has no trouble lying over the most trivial of things.  He is taking a step, a huge step up, from his predecessors in that regard.

When we moved to Texas, I was really sad that I'd never be able to eat at In N Out unless I came home. It was really, really upset about it.
Now I have two within 15 mins and one's right on my way home from work.
